First of all, in principle, the phrase "hybrid only Toyota and others" is really true.
Because Toyota's hybrid is indeed unique in terms of structure.

This planetary gear set is the core of the system, so Toyota has registered many related patents.
Except for GM, basically no other car company uses a similar structure.
