According to interface news reports, after the National Day holiday, news began to appear on social platforms that Gaohe Auto was going to lay off employees. In the middle of this month, Gaohe Auto began to verbally notify the layoffs. People familiar with the matter said that each department has indicators of layoffs, and the proportion varies.
The layoff has not yet attracted large-scale attention within the company, and even some grassroots employees are not aware of it. Some netizens said that the list has been determined, and only the middle and high-level officials know it.
Some people also said on social media that they got an offer before the National Day, but something changed after the holiday. At present, Gaohe is still recruiting on various platforms, and the positions are mainly for sales.
Response: The rumors are untrue
In response to the news of the above-mentioned large-scale layoffs, Gaohe Auto told the media that the rumors were untrue and that this time it was a normal personnel flow.
Gaohe Automobile was founded in 2017 and initially focused on the high-end luxury market of 600,000 to 800,000. Compared with other emerging forces that focus on high-end brands, the price of Gaohe is at least 200,000 yuan higher.
However, in July this year, the price of the new model launched by Gaohe has dropped to 33.9 to 449,000 yuan.
Gaohe Automobile's annual sales in the previous two years did not exceed 5,000 units. Within two months of its launch, HiPhi Y sold a total of 2,577 units. According to September data, the monthly sales of HiPhi Y were 1,556 units, while NIO's ES6 sales were 7,896 units.
In June, Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Investment signed a $5.6 billion agreement with Huaren Express, the parent company of Gaohe Automobile, to establish a joint venture to develop, manufacture and sell automobiles.
New energy vehicles are two heavens of ice and fire
At present, the competition of new energy vehicles has entered a white-hot state.
On October 7, WM Motor Technology Group issued a "notification letter", and the company's pre-restructuring application was accepted by the Shanghai Third Intermediate People's Court.

NIO delivered 15,600 units;
Xpeng Motors delivered a total of 15,300 new vehicles;
Leapmotor delivered 15,800 new vehicles, a record high in sales.
In January ~ September this year, the cumulative delivery volume of Nezha Automobile reached 97,770 units. By the end of September, Nezha had delivered a total of 345,820 new vehicles.

In recent months, Huawei's smart car industry has set off a wave of public opinion and rush purchases, and triggered a round of market conditions in the capital market to detonate the car manufacturing industry chain.
