According to the announcement, Dawangshan Tourist Resort will be built into an international level tourist holiday destination and a green new city integrating mountains and rivers; The southern part of Dawangshan will carry the important role of scientific research and image display of Xiangjiang Science City, and build the area into a core demonstration area of scientific and technological innovation highland with core competitiveness.
It is reported that the scope of the revision of the control and regulation of Dawangshan Tourist Resort extends to the Xiangjiang River in the east, Changtan West Line, Jinjiang River and Baiting Road in the west, the ring line in the north, and Guanyingang Avenue and Xinxue Road in the south, with a total land area of 2936.63 hectares and a planned population of 270,000.
At the same time, the area is planned to form a "five horizontal and six vertical" road network structure system. "Five horizontals", namely the Third Ring Road, Lianping Road, Qingfeng South Road, Xinxue Road, and Guanyingang Avenue; "Six verticals", namely Changtan West Line, Baiting Road, Jin Jianghe Road, Tanzhou Avenue, Xiaoxiang Avenue, Shanquan Road and Changhua Road.
In terms of public service facilities, Dawangshan Tourist Resort plans 15 primary schools, 1 nine-year continuous school and 8 middle schools. There are 486 classes in primary school and 438 classes in middle school. Four medical and health facilities are planned, including the Second People's Hospital of Yuelu District, which has been built, and one new community hospital and two tertiary first-class hospitals.
In addition, there are five cultural facilities planned in the precinct. Two of them are cultural parks, namely Tongxi Cultural Park and Lianping Cultural Park; The other three are planned cultural facilities. There are also two sports facilities and five sports parks, as well as two elderly care facilities.
The southern section of Dawangshan Mountain, which was announced together, is located in the southernmost part of Xiangjiang New District, Changsha City, with a planning area of 3611.45 hectares from Xinxue Road and Guanyingang Avenue in the north, the administrative boundary of Xiangjiang New Area in the south, the west line of Changtan in the west, and the Xiangjiang River in the east.
This area will carry the important role of scientific research and image display of Xiangjiang Science City, with a planned population of 137,000.
In terms of transportation, the southern part of Dawang Mountain is planned to form a road network structure system of "six horizontal and four vertical". "Six horizontals" are Xinxue Road, Guanyingang Avenue, Hongqiao Avenue, Sunset Avenue, Quanhu Avenue, and Baiyun Intercity Main Road; The "four verticals" are Changtan West Line, Baiting Road, Xiaoxiang Avenue and Tanzhou Avenue.
At the same time, the area will plan 8 primary schools, 2 nine-year schools and 4 middle schools. There are 252 classes in primary school and 222 classes in secondary school. Three medical and health facilities are planned, namely the Talent Medical Center, Baiquan General Hospital and Community Health Service Center.
In addition, seven cultural facilities are planned in the southern part of Dawangshan, one of which is a city-level cultural facility, that is, the supporting center of the area. The three district-level cultural facilities are district-level cultural facilities, Science City Cultural Center, and Science City Youth Activity Center. The other three are community-level cultural facilities.
