The character of the last royal family: Aisin Kyoro Yunhuan

Gege, the unified title of the daughter of the Manchu imperial family, means miss. During the Qing Dynasty, being a Gege was a status symbol, meaning food and clothing. However, the Gege, who became the last royal family in history, are without exception representatives of tragedy. They longed for the restoration of the imperial court, but it was doomed to fail. However, the last of the last royal family, Gegeai Shin Kyoro Yunhuan, had a different opinion on this.

Yun Huan was the youngest sister of the last emperor Puyi, and the youngest of Prince Jiu's mansion. She had a relatively happy childhood, enjoying the last preferential treatment of the Qing Dynasty. Although the Qing Dynasty had been extinct for many years, according to the Qing Preferential Treatment Regulations, the Puyi family could still enjoy a luxurious life. Yun Huan's father, Zaifeng, was the regent, who had great power in the Qing Dynasty. However, Zaifeng is not interested in power in the slightest, and only wants the family to live a safe and happy life. Such a family environment has made Yun Huan develop a low-key personality since she was a child, knowing that her special identity is easy to attract attention, and keeping a low profile has become her best choice.

Yun Huan's father, Zaifeng, attaches great importance to education, and he never participates in restoration activities, only asking his children to study hard and be good people. After Puyi was driven out of the Forbidden City, Zaifeng's family moved to Tianjin. During Puyi's tenure as the puppet Manchu emperor in Changchun, the Kwantung Army repeatedly persuaded Zaifeng's family to move to Changchun, but Zaifeng resolutely refused and demanded that the other children never go to Changchun.

After the founding of New China, Yun Huan became an ordinary citizen and got a job as a teacher at Jingzhong Street Primary School in Beijing's Chongwen District. She taught attentively, was loved by students, and gradually became an excellent teacher in Beijing. Yun Huan is 28 years old, but still unmarried. Fortunately, educator Li Shufen introduced her to a political teacher, Qiao Hongzhi, and the two soon entered the marriage hall. Despite the simplicity of life, they supported each other and lived happily ever after. However, seven years after marriage, Qiao Hongzhi died of a sudden heart attack. Yun Huan did not remarry and raised her three children alone. She died in 2004 at the age of 83.

Before dying, Yun Huan summed up her life, she said: "My family is very special, but in a sense, it is a sinner of Chinese history, and it is my greatest honor to have the opportunity to serve the people and do a little insignificant thing in this life." These words appeared firm and powerful, and compared with Puyi's silence, Yun Huan had a clear understanding of her life.

Aisin Kyoro Yunhuan was a low-key and connotative woman in the last royal family. It is her greatest honor that she received a good education and served the people within her limited strength. Despite the ups and downs, she never complained, but firmly lived in the moment and created a happy life for herself and her family. Her life may be ordinary, but in her own way she interprets the different choices of the Gegeists and becomes a truly independent woman.
