From October 12th to 13th, the 4th China Metro Construction HVAC Technology Development High-end Forum hosted by the Building Environment and Energy Application Branch of China Survey and Design Association was held in Four Points by Sheraton Shenzhen. Experts and representatives from major design institutes and well-known industry enterprises in the fields of subway, HVAC, and architecture across the country attended the forum to discuss the development direction of metro HVAC technology.

Under the background of the "double carbon" goal, China's urban rail transit will gradually enter a period of high-quality development. However, the subway HVAC system faces problems such as high energy consumption, low energy efficiency of the level of environmental control, and the lack of effective online operation and maintenance diagnosis and energy efficiency management methods of the environmental control equipment, which has become a difficult point restricting the green development of the industry.

Li Yuanyang, president of Midea's Building Technology Ultra-Efficient Research Institute, shared the intelligent solutions created by Midea for the rail transit industry at the forum, starting from the five major sections of ultra-efficient intelligent environmental control system, mechanical and electrical equipment, cloud digital services, subway special systems and subway intelligent systems, and continuously optimizing rail travel and management processes.

Ultra-efficient intelligent environmental control system is the core of the intelligent rail transit solution, including five major products, including intelligent environmental control system software (M-BMS CPM), dynamic simulation platform (M-BMS Sim), M-BMS multi-agent energy-saving control cabinet, intelligent operation center (M-BMS IOC), big data operation and maintenance diagnostic platform (M-BMS XBrain), which can be implemented from five major implementation processes, such as simulation simulation, optimized design, control system, efficient construction, and intelligent operation and maintenance. Realize the whole life cycle management of the subway refrigeration system, and achieve the goals of intelligent energy saving, environmental comfort, and automatic optimization.

At present, Midea's smart rail transit solutions have been successfully applied in a number of rail transit projects, such as Guangzhou Metro Line 21, Suzhou Metro Line 6, Shenzhen Metro Line 16, Guangzhou Metro Line 7 West Extension, etc., to help multiple rail lines achieve energy conservation and efficiency. Taking Suzhou Metro Line 6 as an example, Midea Building Technology has created an ultra-efficient intelligent environmental control system solution for 31 stations on the whole line. The project TCOP is expected to exceed 4.0 (computer room COP is more than 6.0), saving an average of 9.3 million kWh of electricity per year, which is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 10,000 tons per year and planting nearly 100,000 trees per year.
