In 2007, a sudden storm swept through my company. Finally, after a long wait, the case was over. According to the clock-in records, we received four months' salary and an additional compensation payment, which was given in the N+1 manner. This money will not fully compensate for the loss we have suffered, but it will at least give us some comfort in the days ahead.
Looking back, my company was privately owned, but it had plenty of money and a lot of real estate. After the case, these properties were taken over by the State and liquidated. Nevertheless, we were compensated as we deserved. This makes us deeply realize that the law is the most powerful weapon to protect our rights and interests.
