On October 12, 2023, the Women's Road World Tour around Chongming Island kicked off on Chongming Island in Shanghai.

18 teams and 108 participants from all over the world gathered in Chongming for a three-day fierce competition.

This year's track route covers a total of 349.8 kilometers, covering 17 township roads and the Yangtze River Bridge in Chongming.

During the World Tour, the organizing committee continued to plan and launch the Bicycle Carnival, which is also the characteristic culture of cycling in Chongming Cycling Race, and the theme of this year's Bicycle Carnival is "Riding Meets Beautiful, Leisurely Chongming", and children compete in the Cycling Culture Square.

On October 12, the 3-day 2023 International Self-Union Women's Road World Tour around Chongming Island fired shots at the world-class eco-island of Chongming.

Marlene from the Women's Professional Team of Sunla Tianshi-WNT in Germany wore a yellow shirt symbolizing the first place overall, with a time of 2 hours, 34 minutes and 37 seconds.

China's Tang Xin won the best young driver white shirt.

The first stage (Chongxi Stage) on October 12 starts from Xincheng Park, passing through Lotus Expo Park and Pearl Lake Park, covering a distance of 108.9 kilometers.
