As the old saying goes, a mistake is hated for thousands of years, but what is lacking in the world is precisely the medicine of regret. Ten years after the corrupt official Liu Qingshan was shot, his second son said to his eldest brother: "Brother, our brother's father died, and my mother also remarried, now we can only send people under the fence, without the warmth of family, without the love of parents, let's just resign ourselves to fate!" Don't think about anything..." What have they experienced in the past ten years to sigh so much. 01 Liu Qingshan and his people
Liu Qingshan, born in 1914, from Anguo, Hebei, was born as a hired worker. He joined the Communist Party in June 1931 and served as the secretary of the Tianjin Prefectural Committee of the Communist Party of China, and was arrested as the deputy secretary of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China. He made great contributions to the Chinese revolution during the war years, but in the end he degenerated into a sinner of the people. Chairman Mao had read the scriptures and was familiar with history, and posterity could not guess what Chairman Mao thought about Liu Zhang.
However, such a decision is unique in the history of New China, which shows Chairman Mao's determination to fight corruption. However, ordinary people also have a very complicated mentality when they view Liu Qingshan's descendants: they are deeply aware of his father's crimes and the special treatment of the party and government as adults. It can be said that Liu Qingshan's descendants grew up in this environment that is both sad and fortunate. The following is a historical video of Liu Qingshan and Zhang Zishan being shot in a public trial.
In accordance with the instructions of the central leadership, the Hebei Provincial Party Committee made four decisions and handed them over to the executioners and aftermath units for implementation: first, the bullet did not hit the head, but hit the heart; 2. The corpse shall be buried, and the coffin shall be purchased at public expense; 3. The relatives of the second offender shall not be treated as members of the counter-revolutionary; (4) The children of the second offender shall be brought up by the State. As the first major anti-corruption case in the Republic, Mao Zedong personally criticized the killing of corrupt officials and asked the local government to comfort his descendants, which is also unique in the history of New China. These resolutions were also made clear to Liu Qingshan in advance. After listening, he burst into tears. A gunshot erupted, shaking the sky. All of Baoding City, the whole of Hebei Province, and all of China heard it.
0201 The wife remarried, and the family was scattered
At the time of Liu Qingshan's case, his youngest son Liu Tiebing was only a few months old, his second son Liu Tiejia was 4 years old, and his eldest son Liu Tieqi had just turned 6 years old. The three brothers lived with their uncle Liu Hengshan in Nanzhang Village, Anguo County, their hometown. On the day Liu Qingshan was executed, Liu Tieqi, who had just celebrated his sixth birthday, drew the 62nd white line on the wall of his house with chalk. He missed his father, and every day after his departure, he used chalk to draw lines on the walls.
It turned out that more than two months ago, after Liu Qingshan, who was a member of the Chinese Youth Friendship Delegation to attend the "World Peace and Friendship Conference" held in Vienna, went abroad, Liu Tieqi, the eldest son who missed his father, drew a road on the wall every day. Later, Liu Tieqi recalled: "At that time in Shijiazhuang, my father was the secretary of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Party Committee, our family lived in the courtyard of the municipal party committee, our family lived in an east wing room, the window was facing the street, as soon as I entered a big house, I was still playing outside with children, let me change my clothes, change shoes, go to Baoding to see my father, I was very happy, more than two months have not seen, and told the children, I am going to Baoding, my father is still waiting for me in Baoding." When I arrived in Baoding, as soon as I entered the house, there was a room, quite big, my grandmother was lying on her side on a double bed, and there were two staff members sitting opposite her, crying and saying, my grandmother was lying on her side, the two people stood up, old lady, you rest, we left, I had an impression of this, and then I thought that my father might have an accident. ”
But the news that Liu Qingshan was shot, the mother forced tears and did not tell the child the truth. Until Liu Tieqi heard his classmates say that his father Liu Qingshan had been shot by the government on this day, he threw himself into his mother's arms and cried: "People say that my father is a corrupt criminal, and he has long been shot!" Isn't it? Soon, Hebei Province appointed the personnel department of Shijiazhuang City to convey to Fan Yong the decision of the provincial party committee: "The leaders of the Central Committee, the North China Bureau, and the provincial party committee have made a joint notice that Liu Qingshan's eldest son and second son will be supplied by the state from now on... Each person has a monthly living allowance of 15 yuan, and the third is raised by Fan Yong. ”
The concept of 15 yuan at that time was: equal to 150 jin of millet; or eggs 30 pounds; or lamb 30 pounds; or beef 21 pounds; or pork 15 pounds; or fish 50 pounds; or 15 cotton undershirts... However, in April 1954, Fan Yong, who could not withstand the pressure, finally remarried a man named Zhang Yuedong. The Shijiazhuang municipal government, which learned the news, stopped the pensions of two children at one point. In this way, after remarrying, Fan Yong has heavier economic pressure in addition to mental pressure. In 1957, Fan Yong finally couldn't help but complain about it at a party group meeting.
As a result, he was immediately branded a rightist, sent to the countryside, and stopped paying living expenses for 12 years and three months. It was not until 1978 that the relevant departments came to the conclusion that "Comrade Fan Yong is a rightist who has been wrongly classified and corrected." Liu Qingshan's second son Liu Tiejia was taken back to his hometown of Nanzhang Village, Anguo County, Hebei Province by his uncle Liu Hengshan at this time. In 1962, after Liu Tieqi went to high school, expenses increased, Fan Yong went to the provincial party committee to ask for more living expenses, and the provincial party committee decided to give Liu Tieqi 20 yuan per month, iron armor and iron soldiers 15 yuan per month. The 50 yuan was maintained until Liu Tieqi graduated from university and joined the work in 1970.
03A label that can't be torn off for a lifetime
In 1965, the eldest Liu Tieqi applied for the Beijing Petroleum Institute. At that time, the admissions office of the petroleum institute was located in Nankai University, and the teacher of the admissions office held Liu Tieqi's transcript and felt very puzzled, this is the result of the Tsinghua exam, how to apply for the petroleum college? Looking at the family situation, he was surprised: "My father, Liu Qingshan, the former secretary of the Tianjin Prefectural Party Committee, was executed by the government in 1952. The admissions teacher suddenly felt that the matter was serious and returned to Beijing overnight to report the matter to the school leaders.
After study, the party committee of the school decided to accept Liu Tieqi into school. The personal file at that time was very different from today, and there was a mandatory field: "Whether any of the relatives were killed and detained (i.e., shot, imprisoned, controlled)." The grinning Liu Tieqi filled in truthfully without concealment. Therefore, soon, wherever Liu Tie rode went, he became a "celebrity" wherever he went. "Liu Tieqi, the son of a big embezzler, was admitted and went to school in the xx department xx class." Such rumors are everywhere.
Even when he just walked into the cafeteria with his lunch box to eat, he could hear the girl behind him whispering: "Look! That's the guy! Liu Qingshan's son is here! At the beginning of the Cultural Revolution, Fan Yong's home was raided, but Liu Tieqi, who was studying at school, was basically unaffected, but after graduation, he was not so lucky. In July 1970, Liu Tieqi graduated from university and was assigned to Fushun Petroleum No. 1 Plant. In this factory, wherever he was tired, he was sent to wherever he was, and the most common thing to do was to go to the workshop to produce ash. But suffering did not bring down this happy and strong youth.
Liu Tieqi, who grew up in his uncle's family, has known Liu Jixian, the daughter of his uncle's neighbor, since he was a child, and the two are only separated by a wall, and they also study in the same middle school. The two were about the same age, and they had more contact, and Liu Jixian gave great sympathy to the suffering of Liu Tieqi's brothers. She was admitted to Hebei Medical College a year earlier than Liu Tieqi, and was assigned to work in Laiyuan County after graduating in 1969.
Liu Tie rides 176 cm tall, has natural curly hair, wears a pair of myopic glasses, and has an elegant demeanor; Liu Jixian was beautiful and virtuous, and she was a rare intellectual woman in those years. In the second year after Liu Jixian's graduation, Liu Tieqi also graduated. Two young people, who already had a good feeling, slowly opened up their relationship to their families. When Liu Jixian told his parents about his life's events, his father had great concerns, and he said to his daughter worriedly: "It's not that Dad is against your love, it's not that Tieqi's child is bad, Dad is worried that Tieqi's family background will affect you for the rest of your life!" ”
Liu Jixian firmly said to his parents: "I don't believe that the 'blood theory' will rule people for a lifetime!" Could it be that Tieqi's father is a corrupt official, and Tieqi is destined to be a corrupt criminal? I decided to marry him, regardless of his family background, let alone be affected. Even if I followed him to jail, I followed! Liu Jixian's father, who is a grassroots cadre in Anguo County, saw that his daughter was so determined, so he said, "It's okay, find someone who knows the roots, and the family can rest assured." In 1972, Liu Tieqi and Liu Jixian, two lovers, entered the marriage hall.
In 1975, Liu Tieqi was transferred to work in the supply office of the newly established Langfang Oil and Gas Pipeline Bureau, and Liu Jixian also followed Liu Tieqi to Langfang. After marriage, Liu Tieqi and his wife had a pair of children who satisfied them. This son and daughter grew up and were admitted to university, and the daughter now settles in London, England; His son now works for a Beijing company owned by PetroChina. In general, the life of Liu Tieqi's family of four is peaceful and happy. However, due to Liu Qingshan's influence, there is a regret that has always been buried in their hearts - the desire of a family of four to join the party has all failed.
Today, Liu Tieqi, who is in his 60s, has retired and worked as a deputy general manager of an enterprise. His wife Liu Jixian opened her own clinic after retiring, and the benefits were good. Both sons and daughters are married and live very peacefully. The second eldest Liu Tiejia was in the second year of high school before the Cultural Revolution, and in the late period of the Cultural Revolution, he worked as a farmer in his hometown, and in the words of his mother Fan Yong, he counted that Tie Jia suffered the most and counted him as the most capable. He went to the northeast to weave and sell art, wearing single shoes on his feet, his hands were frozen and he suffered a great crime when walking through the streets and alleys in the ice and snow.
In 1976, the Pipeline Bureau recruited workers internally, and Liu Tieqi reported to Liu Tiejia, and Liu Tiejia became an oil pipeline worker. Liu Qingshan's third son, Liu Tiebing, worked as a farmer at home after graduating from high school, and once wanted to join the army, but was brushed down because of his father's affairs. Soon the county gave him an indicator to go to the Quyang coal mine to go to the coal kiln, so that he could turn to Africa and then transfer back to Anguo. He has three children, two sons and one daughter.
04How much does Liu Qingshan embezzle?
According to survey data, from 1950 to 1951, Liu Qingshan and Zhang Zishan used their power to embezzle and embezzle public funds totaling 17,162.72 million yuan (note: old currency). The editor makes a specific comparison, and everyone can feel the details of the corruption between the two. On December 1, 1948, the ratio of China's first set of renminbi to the present one was 10,000:1, which means that the two embezzled about 1.716 million yuan of public funds at that time. If calculated according to the price level at the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the money embezzled by the two people can buy hundreds of millions of catties of rice, or tens of millions of catties of sesame oil, or tens of millions of catties of pork, or nearly a ton of gold!
