Sun Xiu: The last rays of dawn in the Eastern Wu regime of the Three Kingdoms

author:The prodigal son is in the world

Wei pacified Shu, Jin replaced Wei, and only Wu remained in the original Three Kingdoms. The Three Kingdoms were established and became a confrontation between Jin and Wu, separated by Jianghuai, each embracing half of the country.

It is said that it owns half of the country, in fact, Wu's jiangshan is much smaller than Jin.'s. Originally, Wei accounted for eight-tenths, and Shu and Wu each accounted for one. Instead of Wei's Jin, with a nine-to-one territory, it formed an absolute advantage over Wu.

The inferior Eastern Wu was still unstable internally, and the core of the regime was constantly in trouble, and together they were connected together, and after Zhang Bu and Ding Feng assisted Sun Xiu and killed Sun Qiang, it was a paragraph.

Sun Xiu, who had been oppressed for a long time, understood this truth in his bones and fully activated the personnel of his own system, and promoted the Wei general Puyang Xing as the chancellor, with Ting Wei Ding Mi and Guanglu Xun Mengzong as the right and left imperial masters.

Puyang Xing(濮阳興), courtesy name Ziyuan, was a native of Chen Liu (陳留; present-day southeastern Kaifeng, Henan).

His father, Puyang Yi, avoided chaos in Jiangdong at the end of the Han Dynasty, and the official went to Changsha Taishou. When Puyang Xing was young, he had a reputation among the scholars, and Sun Quan was given the title of Shangyu Ling, and then, he moved to Shangshu Zuo Cao, and sent an envoy to Shu Han with five senses, returned, and worshiped as Huiji Taishou.

Sun Xiu, who was then enfeoffed as the Evil King of Lang, was arranged by the imperial court to live in Huiji. PuYang Xing did not know that Sun Hui would be a dragon in the future, and he did his best to take care of this member of the royal family with the friendship of the landlord. One after another, the two formed a deep friendship. After Sun Xiu ascended the throne, he established Puyang Xing as the state affairs of Taichang, Wei, and Pingjun, and was enfeoffed as the Marquis of Huang.

Puyang Xing, who soared into the yellow tengda, made a misguided move at the beginning of his service at the beginning of his service as the central authorities. Du Wei strictly suggested that danyang lake fields be developed and Puli Pond be built. The hundred officials were ordered by Sun Xiu to argue, and they all believed that it was difficult to achieve a lot of effort, but Puyang Xing alone agreed. Sun Xiu was convinced of Puyang Xing and ordered the mobilization of soldiers to build privately. As a result, countless human, material and financial resources were used, and many people died, but they failed to receive the expected results, which made people angry.

Sun Xiu not only did not blame Puyang Xing, but instead worshiped him as a chancellor.

Although he was already above ten thousand people under one person, Puyang Xing, as the chief of the Baolu position, abandoned the principle of justice and disregarded it, tried his best to curry favor with the popular Zhang Bu, fought with him fiercely, formed a party, and made a show of each other, in order to monopolize the government and government, thus arousing public opinion criticism. [i]

Zhang Bu, the left general and the military governor of the middle army, became an unnamed auxiliary minister with merit and strength. The official worshiped the general Ding Feng, but instead succumbed to him. [ii]

Sun Xiu did not completely regain his authority, he was a puppet who was not a puppet for many years, he was well aware of the importance of authority, but self-knowledge made him realize that he still lacked the knowledge that a monarch should have, and he must study the classics carefully and learn from historical experience. In order to make time, he let Puyang Xing preside over the major affairs of the military state, and Let Zhang Buyian take charge of the palace province to share the worries and solve the problems. He sincerely believed that with the old grace they had made, and through the test of the wind and waves, these two people would not fail themselves.

Sun Xiu, who had freed up time, entered the self-training of the two ways of culture and martial arts, returned to the spring and summer morning and night, hunted in the fields, and immersed himself in the classics in autumn and winter, wanting to exhaust the words of a hundred families. He specially summoned Dr. Wei Yao and Dr. Sheng Chong to enter the palace to preach and discuss art in order to enlighten political wisdom.

Wei Yao and Sheng Chong are not only learned to be rich in five cars, but also known for their outspokenness. When he learned that Sun Xiu had summoned the two men to discuss the Tao, Zhang Bu panicked, fearing that the two would expose his mistakes, thus stirring up Sun Xiu's trust and losing his qualifications for arbitrariness. Hurriedly speaking to Sun Xiu, he brought out a set of specious reasons to prevent the two from entering the palace.

Sun Xiu debunked Zhang Bu and said:

"Lonely involvement in learning, the group of books is skimmed over, and I have seen a lot. The Ming Kings and Dark Kings, the traitors and thieves, the successes and failures of the ancient and modern sages and fools, all read them. Now Wei Yao waited to enter, but wanted to talk about books, not from the beginning of it to be more learned. What's the loss of being so? Günter should not be allowed to enter by means of the treachery of Wei Yao and other fearful subordinates. Such a thing, Lonely has already solved itself, and there is no need for Wei Yao to wait before solving it. Since it is not damaged, Junyi must be jealous. ”

Zhang Bu was embarrassed, and the explanation was not this intention, but he was afraid of delaying political affairs.

Sun Xiu admonished:

"The thing about books is only bad for people, and it doesn't hurt to be good." There is nothing wrong with this, but the king thinks it is inappropriate, because of loneliness. The flow of government affairs is different and does not interfere with each other. Do not want to be a deacon today, so that he is not alone, and the good is not taken. ”

Zhang Bu said in a serene manner, kowtowed and thanked him.

Sun Xiu enlightened and comforted:

"Talk about enlightenment, how to kowtow!" As the loyalty of the king, known from near and far. The past feels for each other, and can become the majestic karma of today. Shi Yun: 'There is no beginning, but there is an end.' 'The end is difficult, but the king should be the end.' ”

Having said that, Sun Xiu still needed Zhang Bu's effectiveness, and in order to avoid his suspicions, he finally stopped lecturing and stopped meeting privately with Wei Yao and Sheng Chong. [iii]

Sun Xiu was not a mediocre lord, and when Shu Han was in a hurry, in order to avoid the terrible prospect of cold lips and teeth, he devoted all his strength to sending troops to help. Unfortunately, the Shu Han still perished. In the face of reality, the rescue forces were ordered to simply seize the Shu soil to expand the territory of Eastern Wu. However, this last move, under the joint action of the Wei army and the Shu army, also failed to succeed, watching all the Shu soil be pocketed by Wei Ting.

Although it was Shu Han who perished, the blow to Sun Xiu was enormous, and he felt loneliness like never before, a kind of loneliness that penetrated into the bone marrow and could not be discharged.

Originally, his body was sick, and in a hurry, the poisonous gas attacked his heart, and when he woke up from sleep, he could no longer speak. He was still conscious, knowing that he had reached the limit, struggled to arrange the aftermath, and struggled to write a handwritten letter with a pen, ordering the chancellor Puyang Xing to enter the palace quickly to make an explanation.

It was a hot July, and Puyang Xing rushed to the imperial bed and sweated profusely. Sun Xiu summoned his son Sun and worshipped at the feet of Puyang Xing. He forcibly held PuYangxing's arm, pointed at his son, and gasped for breath for a while, but the meaning was very clear, it was to be alone with Puyangxing.

Orphaned, Sun Xiu passed away blindly, and Chunqiu was only thirty years old. [iv]
