The Wuhan public security organs formed a list of responsibilities and supervision for the urgent and difficult expectations of the residents collected by platforms such as the "citizen hotline" and "department (bureau) director's mailbox", and coordinated the integration of multiple police departments for handling within a limited time. According to the clues reported by the masses on the "People's Call to the Police" platform, the Wuhan police investigated and dealt with a total of 16 cases involving "pornographic gambling" and arrested 94 people involved in the cases; destroyed 16 "black refueling" dens and arrested 17 people involved in the case; investigated and dealt with 78 traffic violations of "drag racing" and muck vehicles; 49 potential safety hazards were eliminated in a timely manner.
The public's sense of security and satisfaction continue to increase

This summer, there was a "blowout" in the masses' application for resident identity cards, and the city's public security household registration windows ushered in a peak in the application of certificates. "We must do a good job in guaranteeing various services to ensure that the masses apply for certificates in an orderly, safe and smooth manner." On July 22, at a special meeting of the Wuhan Municipal Public Security Bureau, the relevant responsible person made a request to the city's public security window.
Increase ID card processing points, increase card windows, send more special service guidance, delay the office of the city's public security household registration window, set up water dispensers and other convenient facilities in the hall... The Wuhan Municipal Public Security Bureau sent personnel to various certification points to supervise and inspect, and once it was found that the queue was too long, the order was poor, and there was no one to guide it, it immediately demanded rectification.
At the public security window of the Jiang'an District Government Affairs Center, in order to meet the peak demand for certificate application, a "tidal window" is set up on the basis of the original 7 ID card application windows, and a total of 20 public security windows accept ID card processing business on all lines. At the same time, 6 mobile booths and 1 temporary photo point were added to the adjustment, two mobile patrol posts were arranged to conduct pre-examination against the masses queuing in the photo room, and 3 staff members were assigned to assist in guiding the masses, so as to reduce the waiting time of the masses and the application of certificates.
Since July, the Wuhan Municipal Public Security Bureau has added 21 new windows for applying for certificates, 10 sub-bureaus have taken the initiative to implement delayed services, and a total of more than 347,000 ID cards have been processed, an increase of 89% year-on-year, and a total of 139 letters of thanks from the public have been received at the city's public security windows.
"Micro-transformation" solves the problem of traffic congestion
