Since its inception in 2008, the Shanghai University Student TV Festival has gone through 16 years. On September 23, the 16th Shanghai College Student TV Festival Host Competition ended successfully.
This is a host competition with the theme of "Youth Blooms, Chasing Dreams of China", a total of more than 180 contestants from 65 universities across the country applied for works, after selection, 25 outstanding contestants stood out and showed their style in the finals.
After four rounds of fierce competition, Rong Jiahui from Shanghai Theater Academy and Liu Shiyang from East China Normal University won the first prize of this competition.
"After entering university, I seem to have a new understanding of this profession. I am more and more aware that the three words of the host can not be overly respectful, rigorous, and serious. Liu Shiyang studied broadcasting and hosting at Chongqing University with a bachelor's degree, and is now studying in all-media communication at East China Normal University. He has interned in China Central Radio and Television Station, CCTV, China Education Television, and participated in the production of programs such as "Party History in Art Classics", "Hello, Veterans", "Where Does the Train Go", "Banner Chinese Youth Say" and other programs;
Independently and spontaneously filmed and produced the news feature film "Revisiting the Top Ten Poverty Alleviation Demonstration Bases", which was supported by the editor-in-chief of Xinhua News Agency and CCTV;
Selected by APEC as the "2020 Global 80 APEC Future Voices" changemakers; the youngest sub-bureau manager since the establishment of Xinhua News Agency's "New Youth";
He has won the 2019 Chongqing Public Welfare Contribution Award and the first prize of the 8th "Future Golden Microphone" Host Competition of Jiangsu Satellite TV in 2019.

In 2018, Liu Shiyang Chinese New Year's Eve was honored to become a member of the CCTV news reporting team, reporting on the grand scenery of the two rivers on the banks of the Jialing River in the early days of the lantern.
However, during the reporting process, the live broadcast signal was suddenly interrupted. This is not a small psychological test for Liu Shiyang, who has just come into contact with live broadcast reports. But after troubleshooting, Liu Shiyang calmly completed the reporting task brilliantly.
