FOR THIS SPRING/SUMMER 2024 COLLECTION, DESIGN DIRECTOR SHIATZY CHEN DREW INSPIRATION FROM THE ILLUSORY SCENE OF THE MIRAGE OF ORIENTAL ALLUSIONS, AND PRESENTED THE WATER WAVES AND BEAMS IN THE SKY WITH THE THEME OF "MIRAGE", WHICH IS SIMILAR TO THE FANTASY OF THE SEA MARKET. According to ancient legends, the mirage dragon is said to be the most mysterious and powerful of the nine sons of the dragon, not only has great power, but also can create mirages. Inspired by these ancient oriental legends, the designer injected traditional elements into this collection, using fashionable language to reinterpret the fusion and symbiosis of Chinese and Western cultures.
In addition, she further explores the rare treasures of the Orient - blue and white Yunlong porcelain, the seawater dragon patterns attached to these porcelains, the four legs and five claws leaping demeanor, and the exquisite dragon patterns and details, which have been further developed by the designer to show movement and vitality.

The designer wonderfully combines Eastern and Western clothing culture to highlight fashion pieces rich in oriental romance and poetry. This time, the special craftsmanship techniques in the show were a highlight.
She uses special craft techniques to restore the underwater landscape, and the audience can clearly see the coral on the bottom of the sea in the uneven and convex cloth on the costume; Light lace stacked with silver hot noodles shines with shell luster; Or use ugan yarn and tweed to stitch together the phantom sea cave. "Perfect Integration with Nature" In this season's show, SHIATZY CHEN invited French artist Daniela Busarello to participate and collaborated with the French art workshop 91.530 Le Marais and founder Victoire de Pourtalès, from the cultivation of hemp raw materials from local art farms in France to the combination of the beauty of different cultures of the East and the West, respectively, through textiles and paintings, to outline each other's imagination of sea dragons.
It is worth mentioning that the artist did not add rich and saturated colors or pigments in his creation, but chose a bottle of water dew drawn from ponds around the world that has been stored for a long time in the painting cabinet as the material.
