Promote the incremental efficiency of Qianbei hemp sheep to achieve improved breeding, large-scale and professional development. In the past five years, the stock and slaughter of hemp sheep in Xishui County have increased year by year, and the Xishui hemp sheep industry has basically formed a complete industrial system of breeding, custody, processing and sales.
Approaching the mutton processing factory in Xinglong Village, Taolin Town, Xishui County, the aroma of chili oil and mutton came to the face, and in the workshop, the lamb that had just come out of the pot was steaming. "In addition to the mutton from our village collective farm, the rest of the mutton in our processing plant comes from local hemp sheep raised by the masses, which are active in the mountains and forests every day, and the meat is delicious, the taste is pure, the quality is good, and the market is not worried." In Dashan Village, Sangmu Town, Xishui County, fog shrouded the mountains and forests, and the sound of grazing sheep on the mountains was heard in the distance, and Xu Hongguo, a major breeder, hummed a small song and released cattle and sheep, he told reporters that he had just sold more than 100 sheep in the past two days, earning more than 150,000 yuan, and in recent years, he has earned 100,000 yuan every year by breeding Qianbei hemp sheep.
The relevant departments of the county also superimposed industrial policies and project support on each other, and continued to promote policy support, seed source construction, improvement of forage and feed construction systems, and epidemic prevention and control measures. At the same time, local people are encouraged to actively participate in breeding, and 18 professional cooperatives of hemp sheep farmers have emerged in Qianbei in the county, realizing the transformation from spontaneous breeding to centralized and stable "small-scale and large-group" breeding mode.
Up to now, the county has 328,000 sheep, 13,000 sheep farmers, 1,200 farmers with more than 50 sheep, and 77 family farms with more than 300 ewes; 1 ruminant feed processing plant with an annual output of 300,000 tons of cattle and sheep, 1 original breeding farm and 4 expansion farms and 1 sheep slaughtering and dividing plant in Qianbei Ma Sheep; more than 300 sheep catering operations in Qianbei Hemp Sheep; and more than 480 catering outlets nationwide that are processed into finished or semi-finished products of hemp sheep through the central kitchen.
