On the evening of September 30, at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium, in the women's 100m final of the Hangzhou Asian Games athletics, China's Ge Manqi won the championship in 11.23 seconds.
Ge Manqi, 25, is from Fujian and her idol is Usain Bolt.
Another Chinese competitor in the same race was 31-year-old Wei Yongli, who finished fifth in 11.40 seconds. Wei Yongli, a Guangxi sprinter, is competing in her third Asian Games and won the event in 2014.
