The exhibition was founded in 1974 and is jointly organized by the British Garden and Outdoor Recreation Association and the British Hardware Union and the Houseware Manufacturing Association. The exhibition is the most influential professional trade show in the British garden hardware industry. The scale and influence of the exhibition are at the forefront of global flower and horticultural exhibitions.
