Mexicans, the largest mestizo people in Latin America, formed on the basis of local Indians, alien Europeans and, to a lesser extent, Africans. The name of the country and the capital, Mexico City, are associated with the word "meshik" in the Indian Nahuatl language. This is the name of a tribe in the Aztec Empire. The Spaniards used the suffix [-nose], which formed the word "mehicanos". That is why the country's capital is called Mexico City and not Mexico. In theory, the state should also be called Mexico. Mexicans as a people appeared very early. When the United States of America was formed, the Anglo-Saxons already saw them as a single group, not whites and not a European population. A well-known fact: White hunters looking for Indian scalps often offer Mexican scalps to U.S. authorities under the guise of Indian scalps. Money is easy to give to them, although everyone understands that they are not Indians. By law, Mexicans do not have to pay for their scalps, but it is also beneficial for the American authorities, who therefore support the extermination of Mexicans.
