Grandma Jiang, a victim of the Japanese army's "comfort women" system, recently died at the age of 102.
At present, only 10 survivors of registered Japanese "comfort women" victims remain.
Comfort women, this is the most painful, sad, bloody and tearful page in the history of our nation.
I believe everyone should know about their experiences.

Historical them
Grandma Jiang is a veteran of the Anti-Japanese War.
After enrolling up for the Army in 1939, she was assigned to a field hospital, where she cared for and transported wounded soldiers.
When the Japanese invaded, the field hospital was evacuated, but Grandma Jiang could not escape in time, and unfortunately was captured by the Japanese army.
In the days that followed, she suffered inhuman torture.
The Japanese imprisoned her in the attic of the Japanese garrison in Miro and subjected her to sexual slavery.
Unable to withstand the torture of the Japanese army, Grandma Jiang jumped out of the window and broke her foot.
However, this is not an isolated case.
You can't imagine how many "comfort women" there are.
The Japanese army is well aware that the use of "comfort women" as military material is contrary to human dignity, so the handling and preservation of documents and data will be kept as confidential as possible.
Coupled with the massive destruction of archives during the defeat of the Japanese army, it was very difficult to obtain accurate figures.
Only if you don't do anything wrong, you won't be exposed.
What has been done cannot be completely covered up.
In a battle plan of the Kwantung Army, it was mentioned that in 1941 the Japanese army mobilized more than 700,000 soldiers and equipped 20,000 comfort women. According to the number of 3 million Japanese troops at that time, this number was about 100,000 people.
Around 1992, some Japanese scholars calculated that the number of comfort women was about 206,897.
According to the China Comfort Women Research Center at Shanghai Normal University, the number of comfort women is about 360,000 or 410,000.
Either number is shocking.
Under their inhuman destruction, once the "comfort women" are useless or die, they will re-rob the women to replenish.
So this number will only be more, not less.
You can't imagine the cruelty to which the "comfort women" were subjected.
"Four-legged cow", "pressure rod", "comfort chair", these mundane sounding names are the nightmare of "comfort women".
According to the surviving comfort women's recollections, the so-called "four-legged cow" torture:
Tie your hands and feet to heavy chains and place a sharp knife with the tip facing up under your abdomen.
Once the physical strength is exhausted, it will be pierced by a sharp knife and die on the spot.
If you try to stand up, you will be beaten more violently.
During torture, the Japanese also used whips to beat the victims, accelerating the loss of women's physical strength.
Do you think this is already the cruelest?
No, it will only be more cruel.
To satisfy their animal desires, they invented the "comfort chair".
The advent of comfort chairs allowed Japanese soldiers to bind women with ropes to immobilize.
In this way, it is better to control the comfort women and do anything to them with impunity.
When our soldiers rescued the women, they shed tears.
The eyes of these women were empty, and their spirits had completely collapsed, as if they had become soulless shells.
You can't imagine how high the death rate of "comfort women" is.
According to the old man Chen Jinyu's recollection, after she and more than 30 other girls were captured by the Japanese army, in order to prevent escape, the Japanese army would directly tie their hands with belts. The Japanese then nailed their hands and feet to the sides of the bed to form a "big" shape to facilitate their invasion.
In order to facilitate bestiality, the Japanese army will directly strip off the girl's clothes, and some girls will be pulled out of their teeth by the Japanese army because of fierce resistance. The soldiers are inhuman and commit more than 200 assaults on girls a day.
Under such torture, many girls died because they could not bear it. However, there are also people who survive.
During these difficult years, some people have forever remained in the memory of history, while others have survived tenaciously.
I don't know if it's lucky or unfortunate to survive.
After all, they were forever imprisoned in that nightmare, waiting for an apology for the rest of their lives.

Now they are
In 1992, Wan Aihua was the first to come forward and accuse the Japanese army of sexual assault in China in her real name.
Wan Aihua spent eight years going to Tokyo to testify in court, but lost three times because "individuals cannot sue the government." On September 4, 2013, she passed away with hatred.
Wan Aihua's experience in the first half of her life is a painful memory, and in the second half of her life, she has been fighting to "seek justice and regain her dignity".
In 1995, Li Xiumei led 10 comfort women who had survived the Sino-Japanese War to sue the Japanese government in a local district court in Japan.
The Japanese government, the defence, never spoke, neither denying nor acknowledging.
This indifferent attitude deeply touched everyone present and ended in failure due to lack of evidence.
The elder Li Xiumei has appealed several times since then, but has never been able to obtain an apology.
In 2001, Chen Jinyu joined forces with seven other victims to file a lawsuit against the Japanese government, demanding a public apology and compensation for damages.
However, she also failed to do so.
In the years since that case was lost, four elderly people have passed away, and they can no longer wait for a just outcome.
However, Chen Jinyu did not give up, and she left her hometown in 2008 for Japan, where she stood in the court of second instance as a plaintiff.
Recalling his experience back then, Chen Jinyu said with a trembling voice: "At that time, I was only 14 years old. ”
Speaking of this, Chen Jinyu could no longer control his emotions and cried bitterly.
14 years old, what kind of age is it in our time?
At that time, you were still a child loved and cared for by your parents,
At that time, you were still a student who could talk freely in the classroom and swim in the sea of books.
At that time, you were still a teenager who could run freely and unrestrained on the playground.
At that time, you are like a blooming flower, full of youthful vitality.
Today, they are looking for an apology and a punishment for what they suffered when they were 14 years old.
The surviving comfort women have endured unimaginable hardships, fearing to marry, have children of their own, and some have even lived in difficult conditions.
However, these experiences are only a microcosm of the ruined lives of countless comfort women and elderly people.
These old men physically recount their pain, but they cannot exchange it for an apology from the perpetrator.
In their midnight dreams, they were repeatedly tortured and ravaged.

Remember the history and don't forget the national shame
Veteran soldier He Shusen said:
"A peaceful environment was bought by the sacrifices of thousands of martyrs. Our generation is not afraid of sacrifice, but also of young people forgetting history. ”
However, there are always people who actually forget history.
In his previous performances, comedian Zhang Yunlei has repeatedly used "comfort women" as a stalker:
Such people exist not only among stars, but also among ordinary people.
A netizen was subjected to groundless abuse during normal games, and the words used were very inappropriate, even involving the sensitive topic of "comfort women".
What an outrage! Treat the suffering of others as a joke and your own ignorance as entertainment.
We listened but couldn't laugh.
Forgetting national humiliation will only lead to repeating the mistakes of the past, forgetting sacrifices, and only suffering aggression.
Comfort woman.
These three characters are all too familiar in China, and they represent a history that cannot be looked back on, deeply engraved in the hearts of the Chinese nation, and cannot be forgotten or let go.
Today, however, the term has become a symbol of humiliation, a label of filth.
Making jokes and insults at women not only hurts women, but also blasphemy and betrayal history!
To this day, we have not waited for an apology from the aggressor.
The Japanese side is trying to deny and overturn this history.
They even try to stall for time, allowing the victims to die slowly, with regret and humiliation.
Some people say that the past should no longer be considered.
Why can't you count it?!
Is it their fate for women to tell their stories about their pain, but the perpetrators do not apologize? Is that what they deserve?
For some, the pain needs to be forgotten, while for others, the pain needs to be remembered.
We should let the next generation remember this history and pass on the spirit and suffering of these people.
It would be a great regret if we forgot the experiences of these people.
We should remember history so that those who have passed away are not forgotten.
We should not let history repeat itself, and let those who contributed to the country and the nation die in vain.
