The Red 25th Army wisely evaded this fierce offensive, and they meticulously searched for fighters in the southern mountains, especially in the Changlinggang and Yinjiawan areas. On July 17, 1934, the Red 25th Army finally reached the high ground on the south side of Changlinggang. However, it was unexpectedly discovered that the Kuomintang troops had been deployed on the front line of Changlinggang, and the terrain and formation posed a considerable threat to the Red Army.
With the strong assistance of the local armed forces, the Red XXV Army did not hesitate to fight. After fierce confrontation and fierce battles, they not only succeeded in defeating two regiments of the Kuomintang army, but also annihilated five battalions of the enemy army and captured more than 60 light machine guns and more than 800 long and short guns of great value. This victory became an important chapter in the history of the 25th Red Army.

Qianfeng Village is a demonstration point for the construction of beautiful villages in Xinyang City, with a cumulative investment of more than 4 million yuan, and the infrastructure, water conservancy facilities and public welfare facilities have been greatly improved, making the village shine with a brand new look. Through land transfer, the village has set up five family farms, of which Li Zujiang's family farm has more than 300 acres of land, and the warehouse is filled with newly harvested rice.
