Emergency surgical rescue
In the early morning of September 15, 2023, the "120" emergency center in Dao County received a distress call, informing Chen Mouzhen, 39 years old, 35+3 weeks pregnant, vaginal bleeding accompanied by lower abdominal distention, and the ambulance immediately flashed its police lights and rushed to the place of distress.
After arriving at the scene, the examination estimated that the pregnant woman was bleeding about 1500 milliliters, still bleeding actively, and the medical staff accompanying the car immediately gave emergency treatment, and reported to the director of obstetrics, Gui Xuhong, the pregnant woman was a patient with a history of three cesarean sections with a dangerous placenta previa, anemia during pregnancy was poorly corrected, and the current shock blood pressure.
The director of obstetrics judged that the woman was critically ill and needed emergency cesarean delivery, immediately reported to the hospital's leading group for the rescue of critically ill pregnant women, opened a green channel for the rescue of critically ill pregnant women, and initiated a multidisciplinary treatment plan. After ventilator-assisted ventilation, warmth, acid correction and other treatment measures, the newborn's vital signs are stable, breathing, reaction, and limb activities are good, and they can suck milk on their own.
On the morning of September 22, the mother and newborn recovered well and were successfully discharged from the hospital.
