The "Proud Pen" - "Sidu Chishui in Luzhou" revolutionary cultural relics exhibition, a total of 82 pieces (sets) of exhibits are displayed, comprehensively displaying the revolutionary deeds and red relics left by the Central Red Army in Luzhou for 54 days 88 years ago. These cultural relics carry the revolutionary history of blood and fire, praise the family and country feelings of the Red Army soldiers, and embody the pride of the sons and daughters of Jiucheng to continue the red bloodline.
The exhibition was held at the Lishui Museum in Zhejiang Province from September 1st to October 22nd.
In order to carry forward the great spirit of the Long March and strengthen the cooperation between the east and the west, Luzhou Municipal People's Government and Lishui Municipal People's Government jointly sponsored, Luzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism and Lishui Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports undertook one of the Zhejiang-Sichuan cultural cooperation projects "Lilu Connected - Four Crossings of Red Water in Luzhou" Revolutionary Cultural Relics Exhibition began on September 1 after several months of meticulous preparation, yesterday, on the occasion of the opening of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, Lishui City Museum held a special unique event to applaud the Asian Games.
Xu Weidong, deputy director of Lishui Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, Li Jianhong, director of the Cultural Relics Department of Lishui Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, Chen Ke, director of Luzhou Museum, Jiang Jihong, chief of the Publicity and Education Section of the Luzhou Party History Research Office of the CPC, Li Guangchang, deputy director of Luzhou Cultural Protection Center, Ye Liqing, director of the Memorial Hall of the Southwest Zhejiang Revolutionary Base Area, and Hu Xingwang, director of the Lishui Museum, attended the event.
Also participating in the event were colleagues from the cultural tourism system of Luzhou City and Lishui City, the Memorial Hall of the Southwest Zhejiang Revolutionary Base Area, media friends and the volunteer team of Lishui Museum.
Hu Xingwang, director of Lishui Museum, delivered a welcome speech, Chen Ke, director of Luzhou Museum, delivered a speech, and Luzhou Museum introduced the red cultural and creative products specially developed for this exhibition.
The Red Army's Long March to Chishui is the most glorious and magical chapter in the Long March, a glorious example of winning more with less, turning passive into active, and a proud stroke in the history of Mao Zedong's military command. Mao Zedong and others commanded the Central Red Army, skillfully interspersed between the heavy troops of the Kuomintang in 111 days, flexibly changed the direction of operations, mobilized and confused the enemy, annihilated a large number of enemy troops in the movement, got rid of the encirclement, pursuit, and interception of the Kuomintang army, and won a decisive victory in the strategic shift.
This year commemorates the 130th anniversary of Mao Zedong's birth, and this exhibition is also a tribute to the "proud pen" in the history of Mao Zedong's military command.
Located in the southeast of Sichuan, Luzhou is a strategic place at the junction of Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan and Qian, and is the main battlefield of the Sidu Chishui Campaign. The Central Red Army fought in Luzhou for 54 days, covering more than 80 towns and villages, held the famous "Jiming Three Provinces" Conference, Baisha Conference, established a guerrilla column in southern Sichuan, and more than 1,300 Luzhou youths joined the Red Army, leaving rich red relics and writing a rich red chapter.
