After the outbreak of the Korean War, China and the United States fought each other on the battlefield for three years, when China, still destitute, miraculously defeated the mighty United States.
However, the war was only the beginning of a complicated process in the relationship between the United States and the United States, which remained below freezing for nearly 20 years.
Later, with the changes in the international situation and the bad relations between China and the Soviet Union, Sino-US relations began to recover. After Nixon's visit to China, the two countries re-established diplomatic relations, entered a brief honeymoon period, and began close cooperation.

China firmly refused, but the United States cut off the cargo ship's GPS navigation, causing the cargo ship to agree to the inspection after more than a month of pause. In the end, the inspection proved that China did not violate the law, but the United States did not apologize, which deeply angered Chinese.
The second humiliation was the "Sino-US Yellow Sea standoff," which occurred in 1994 when a U.S. aircraft carrier entered China's Yellow Sea waters, triggering a tense standoff.
Although there was no conflict in the end, the incident had a considerable impact on Sino-US relations and intensified the naval and air contest between the two countries.
The third shame is the "Taiwan Strait crisis."
In 1995, the United States secretly supported the Taiwan independence forces, allowing Taiwan leader Lee Teng-hui to visit the United States and make "Taiwan independence" remarks, which aroused fierce opposition from China.
China has launched missile launches and military exercises, and U.S. aircraft carrier battle groups have entered Taiwan waters.
In the end, the United States abandoned its plan to undermine one China, but the incident still deeply stung the Chinese people.
The fourth humiliation was the "bombing of the Yugoslav embassy", which occurred in 1999.
When NATO bombed the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, it accidentally dropped a bomb on the Chinese Embassy in Yugoslavia, resulting in the death of a Chinese journalist. The indifferent response of the United States has sparked indignation in China, and Sino-US relations have fallen into a freezing point.
The last humiliation was the "South China Sea Collision Incident", in 2001, the US EP-3 electronic intelligence reconnaissance plane crashed into a Chinese fighter jet, resulting in the death of Chinese pilot Wang Wei.
The United States has taken a respectful attitude in handling the incident, which has deeply angered the Chinese people.
These humiliating events became a pain in the hearts of Chinese, inspiring the domestic development of naval and scientific and technological development.
Although Sino-US relations have improved over time in the 21st century, these historical events still affect mutual trust between the two countries.
The development of Sino-US relations tells us that the enhancement of strength is fundamental to safeguarding national dignity, and China should remain calm and wise in the process of increasing its strength to maintain international peace and stability.
