On the 24th local time, at the 2023 Berlin Marathon, Kenyan long-distance runner Erud Kipchoge won the championship with a time of 2 hours, 02 minutes and 41 seconds.

It was Kipchoge's fifth Berlin Marathon title. Kipchoge set a world record at the 2022 Berlin Marathon with a time of 2 hours, 01 minutes and 09 seconds.
