Hideki Tojo was born into a family of traditional warlords in Japan and was influenced by the family atmosphere. His father, Hidekyo Tojo, had fought in the Sino-Japanese War, and this experience was a major topic of communication between father and son. Horrific atrocities
And his wish was finally fulfilled.
After the 918 Incident, Jun Haromi, then the head of the personnel bureau of the War Department, recommended his elementary school alumnus, Hideki Tojo, to his superiors. With the help of alumni, Hideki Tojo served as commander of the military police of the Kwantung Army.
It is worth mentioning that after Japan forcibly occupied northeast China, it took several measures to realize the management of this land. And the Kwantung Army is one of them.
The Kwantung Army mastered a series of military and political affairs, which shows that the position held by Hideki Tojo is not small.
A new broom sweeps clean. The first thing Tojo Hideki did after taking office was to vigorously develop his henchmen. Although his gendarmerie consisted of only 200 men at the time, he trained his cronies in a very short time by transferring soldiers from many places and entrusting them with heavy responsibilities.
Hideki Tojo's obsession with power is unabashed, and next, he will take advantage of various opportunities and desperately climb up.
At this time, a unit caught his attention, that is, Unit 731.
Hideki Tojo admired this particular force, and in his opinion, it would be Japan's right-hand man in killing all sides on the battlefield.
Unit 731 initially relied on animal experiments to study bacteriological weapons against China. But as the demands for experimental accuracy become more and more demanding, animals have become difficult to meet their needs, and humans are the next research subjects.
But where should these subjects come from?
Hideki Tojo made a suggestion, it turned out that after he became commander of the military police of the Kwantung Army, he had aggressively arrested ordinary people. And now, these people have a "reliable" place to go. Without saying a word, Hideki Tojo pushed this group of ordinary people into the fire pit.
Countless people left in agony, leaving only a pile of bloody data.
Some of them were forcibly injected with a variety of bacteria, some were put in a vacuum room, and some were taken for freezing experiments... The Japanese army coldly observed the subjects endure the torture of life and death, and for the sake of data, they would even forcibly dissect these people while they were still alive.
The laboratory was filled with screams and blood spilled all over the earth, silently denouncing this evil deed.
The Japanese army relied on these real data to develop a large number of bacteriological bombs, which were continuously transported to the battlefield.
And the accomplice, Hideki Tojo, repeats the steps of arresting and giving people away. He couldn't see the mountains of corpses, only the thirst for power in his eyes.
In fact, Hideki Tojo does more than that.
On September 12, 1937, the town of Yanggao County, Shanxi Province was empty, with decomposing corpses everywhere. The bodies lay on the ground, surrounded by the remains of houses. The air was filled with the smell of gunsmoke.
And here, the troops of Hideki Tojo just passed.
In three days, the city transformed from its original prosperity to its current wilderness. Hideki Tojo's troops had just entered the city, and the darkness of human nature was thoroughly stimulated. Burning, looting, adultery, this group of evil robbers wantonly satisfied their desires.
Every well in the city wordlessly embraces the inhabitants who have lived for many years.
According to the data of the Shanxi Provincial Institute of History, after the Tojo Corps invaded Yanggao County, it slaughtered more than 1,000 civilians, including Hao Tianfu's family, because they could not bear the ravages of the Japanese army, thirteen members of the family committed suicide by throwing themselves into the well.
However, in addition to Yanggao County, other counties in the Chahar region were also slaughtered to varying degrees, each time numbering more than 1,000 people.
These bloody numbers eventually became a stepping stone for Hideki Tojo to ascend to the sky.
With his achievements in the Chahar region, Hideki Tojo became famous for a while. In 1940, Hideki Tojo joined the cabinet and took charge of the entire army. A year later, he succeeded in becoming prime minister.
Dedication is strongly advocated
Of course, in addition to the above achievements on the battlefield, Hideki Tojo also made a series of statements.
At the 1938 conference, he said that if he wanted to establish a true anti-Soviet military alliance, he would have to threaten the Soviet Union by force, and even prepare for simultaneous war with Britain, the United States, and France.
As soon as this explosive remark came out, there was a rapid uproar in Japan. Although Hideki Tojo was criticized by all sides, he did not compromise and even actively participated in various battles in a vain attempt to speak with facts.
But ironically, Hideki Tojo is just talking on paper. There are a bunch of truths in words, but in reality it is difficult to achieve at all. He launched several armed provocations against the Soviet Union, but they all ended in failure, and completely cut off the illusion of the Northeast Kwantung Army invading the west.
As Japan's ambitions gradually expanded, the atmosphere of civil war in Japan became increasingly strong, and people from all walks of life seemed to be obsessed with advocating the beauty of war. Hideki Tojo also struck while the iron was hot, leading by example, issuing the "War Formation Training" as a land minister, and declaring that everyone should be loyal to the emperor and ready to sacrifice themselves at any time.
What is clear is that the horse fart is in place. Because of this bullshit theory, Hideki Tojo held a number of positions and gathered various powers into one for a while.
Cowardly deeds
In 1945, Japan was defeated.
With the news of Japan's unconditional surrender, many senior officers and nobles of the army desperately embarked on the road to suicide. But Hideki Tojo didn't do that. On the contrary, he shamelessly poked his head out of his room every day to greet incoming reporters. It can be said that it is, extremely arrogant.
Hideki Tojo also thought about committing suicide like other officers, but he always felt too much pain and couldn't do it. Eventually he decided to shoot himself, but because he didn't know the location of his heart, he called a family doctor to draw a circle on his body to mark the location.
Unfortunately, Hideki Tojo never made up his mind to kill himself, and every once in a while the family doctor had to redraw circles. This repeated behavior eventually ended, and at four o'clock in the afternoon of September 11, 1945, Hideki Tojo finally fired the shot.
When the American troops arrived in time, the man with a mouth full of "samurai spirit" and "dedication" lay in his chair, gasping helplessly. For a while, Hideki Tojo became the object of everyone's ridicule.
The final judgment
Perhaps in the eyes of God, this vicious murderer could not choose his own method of death, but was judged by the public.
At the end of December 1945, the Far East Military Tribunal began the trial of Hideki Tojo.
In court, according to the 55 charges of Class A war criminals, Hideki Tojo alone accounted for 54 of them, becoming the number one war criminal among Class A war criminals in one fell swoop.
Faced with these 54 pieces of incriminating evidence, Hideki Tojo completely denied it. The 220,000-word defense is a bunch of lies. Until his death, the war criminal considered himself innocent.
"You are the victors, and now you can determine who is responsible, but in five hundred, a thousand years, historians may make different judgments."
Hideki Tojo left three suicide notes, namely "Message to the British and American People", "Message to Japanese Compatriots" and "Message to Japanese Youth". In his suicide note, he washed away all the mistakes on himself and Japan, but believed that the United States was the most evil murderer.
As an aggressor, Hideki Tojo is like an indefatigable animal, approaching with an aura of terror. When it comes to power, he is unscrupulous and resolute. But in the face of his own death, it is escape and panic. It's ironic.
Mitsubishi products are hot selling
Although Hideki Tojo joined the army himself, he did not want his children to follow this path. Under the persuasion of his father, the second son Tojo Tetsuo resolutely chose an engineer and successfully graduated from the Department of Astronautics of Tokyo Imperial University.
However, because of Japan's brutal methods in the war, the aviation industry was banned, and in desperation, Tojo Tetsuo had to stay at home temporarily and choose other employment opportunities.
Soon after, Tojo successfully joined the Mitsubishi Group, where he held positions such as vice president of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, president of Mitsubishi Motors, chairman of the Mitsubishi Group, and senior advisor to the Mitsubishi Group.
Now, Mitsubishi Motors and a series of Mitsubishi products are well known and frequently appear in front of the public.
