The youth group has 4 people per group, and two PKs are performed at 1v1. Young female players "do not let their eyebrows", during the duel, they frequently play "smashing" tricks, and male players also play the spirit of national ball, and good balls are frequently played. In the end, the two groups were tied, and the referee decided the champion and runner-up by calculating the small points of each game.
Resident player Zhang Yuwei, a young mother who was also a professional player before the age of 13, has not played table tennis for more than 20 years, and decided to sign up when she heard that there was a table tennis competition in the community. After the competition, many residents took the initiative to add her contact information and invited her to participate in community table tennis in the future.
"This kind of community competition is particularly good and the atmosphere is warm," she said. Through the table tennis competition, the connection between residents has been enhanced, and young and middle-aged people like us can participate in community cultural activities, which is very happy. The whole process of this event was planned and organized by the residents themselves. The table tennis competition was led by the neighborhood committee, supported by a third-party professional organization Shanghai Putuo District Neighborhood Community Development Center project, and the three parties jointly established an online discussion and exchange platform to jointly provide suggestions.
In order to better organize the competition, sometimes the residents even communicated until midnight. From event registration, to competition planning, on-site grouping, and referee selection, residents discuss and complete together. Such a wonderful series of activities is inseparable from the dedication of residents, and also fully demonstrates the autonomous ability of residents to self-manage, self-serve and self-supervise.
The idea of a table tennis competition also came from the discussion session of the "Haoyunlou Group" construction project, and the residents proposed the idea of organizing a table tennis competition, which was supported by everyone.
