Trudeau: A sinner who undermines Sino-Canadian friendly relations?
Trudeau's greatest achievement is to undermine friendly relations between China and Canada and gradually make Canada a lackey of the United States, according to Li Yang, the consul general in Rio de Janeiro, in his personal Twitter comment to Trudeau. Li Yang pointed out that Trudeau's attitude towards China has always been unclear, supporting China for a while and standing with the United States for a while. Far from securing substantial benefits for Canada, Trudeau has drawn Canada into the vortex of U.S.-China relations.
Trudeau's outrageous approach is that he acknowledges the economic opportunities China presents while trying to put other countries against China, promoting capitalism without seeing it for what it is, pursuing his own best interests at the expense of his allies.
Trudeau's accusations against China are baseless, he described China as the initiator of "letting the West fight inward", but the fact is that it is Trudeau's approach and position that has led to tensions between Canada and China, and China has only opened its markets to the outside world and achieved economic success in a competitive way, with no intention of separatizing or interfering in the affairs of other countries.
Trudeau also said on a Canadian show that China's use of economic influence to create divisions between countries is nothing more than his own delusion about China's economic rise. He ignored China's cooperation and mutual benefit with other countries, and only focused on pursuing the benefits of the United States.
Trudeau has consistently shown double standards in his handling of China-related incidents. His handling of the Meng Wanzhou incident and the Canadian citizen case is completely inconsistent, showing prejudice and injustice against China. He even compared China's and U.S. behavior toward Canada, and confused China's legitimate behavior with U.S. suppression of Canada, completely departing from the principles of neutrality and impartiality.
Trudeau also blasted China within Canada, saying it had plunged Canada into infighting and tried to encourage other countries to stand against China. He failed to see that China is a defender and builder of international order, working hand in hand with other countries in the world and making positive contributions to the peace and development of the international community.
Trudeau's words and deeds not only undermine the friendly relations between China and Canada, but also expose his prejudice and double standards against China. In order to pursue his own political interests, he did not hesitate to sacrifice the interests of his allies, stood on the side of the United States, and made a series of irresponsible words and deeds, which seriously affected Canada's international image and credibility.
As the prime minister of Canada, Trudeau should put the national interests first and uphold the principles of justice, fairness and neutrality in handling relations with China, instead of being a "lackey" of the United States for his own selfish interests, undermining the friendly relations between the two countries and plunging Canada into international disputes. As a leader of a nation, Trudeau needs to be aware of the consequences of his actions and words and take responsibility for his actions.
