Hello everyone, I'm Tianhao teacher. With the rapid development of science and technology, the agricultural field is also constantly innovating. To meet the growing global demand for food, we need to explore smarter, more sustainable agricultural solutions. Deep Valley College has launched an innovative and practical training project - IoT agricultural greenhouse inspection system. Next, I will introduce you to the features of the project.

The project adopts the Zhongke Deep Valley STM32F407 development board as the first main control board, and its main frequency is as high as 168 MHz, which has lower power consumption and more powerful computing power. In addition, the development board is also equipped with an OLED display module, which can display temperature and humidity data changes in real time, which is convenient for users to view at any time. This module is a temperature and humidity detection module that measures data such as humidity and temperature in the greenhouse. It uses a single-line communication method and transmits 5 bytes at a time. This module is a soil moisture detection module that measures the moisture content in the soil. Its principle is achieved by measuring the change in resistance between the inserts. If it is placed in air, its resistance is infinite, and the moisture content is 0. If it is inserted into the soil, it conducts electricity and changes in electrical resistance because the soil contains water molecules, thus measuring the moisture content in the soil. This module is a light intensity detection module that measures the light intensity in greenhouses. Depending on the change in light intensity, the light can be turned on.

In the greenhouse, if the light time during the day is not enough, or the duration of light becomes shorter in winter, the fill light can be turned on according to the change of light intensity. The simulated ventilation device can turn on the fan according to the temperature data detected by the temperature module to achieve the cooling effect. The simulated LED lighting and fill light device can turn on the fill light according to the change of light intensity. The module is an IoT module that transmits data to the cloud in real time. We use ESP8266 modules to transfer data to the IoT platform. Next, I will show you the whole process of the project.

After powering up, you need to wait for a period of time for data initialization, network connectivity, and cloud platform connection. Now you can see changes in data such as temperature, humidity, light, and soil moisture in real time on the OLED display. The first two data are temperature and humidity. Temperature, light and soil moisture are all measured by the module. By placing the temperature in your hand, you can see that the temperature rises, the fill light that simulates the light intensity will turn on or off, and the fan will automatically turn on or off according to the temperature change.

Inserting a soil moisture detection device into the soil can measure soil moisture in real time, while the mobile phone applet and OneNET cloud platform can display all data changes in real time.

Through the mobile phone applet and OneNET cloud platform, data changes can be monitored remotely and a series of controls can be carried out.
