No one expected that the third Nagorno-Karabakh conflict would end in 24 hours, and Armenia, which constantly embraced the thighs of the United States and Russia, did not wait for the expected big countries to make a move, and finally could only sell the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. On 20 September, under the mediation of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan reached a ceasefire agreement, and the Armenian armed forces in Nagorno-Karabakh were forced to surrender all weapons, disband and withdraw from the Nagorno-Karabakh region, amounting to an unconditional surrender and complete loss of morale.
After this news, the Armenians simply went crazy and did not go to Azerbaijan to take revenge, but killed the Russian embassy. Large crowds protested in front of the embassy, and some even tore their Russian passports to shreds in public in protest of their determination to fight Russia to the end. So the Nagorno-Karabakh problem, which has lasted for 30 years, every time everyone can't help each other, why did Armenia lose so quickly this time?

The Nagorno-Karabakh problem originated in Soviet times, located in southwestern Azerbaijan, and is inhabited by ethnic Armenians, who were granted full autonomy during the Soviet era. With the collapse of the Soviet Union, the local population of Nagorno-Karabakh felt that it should return to Armenia, but Azerbaijan felt that it was its own territory geographically. As the republics disputed each other over territory and heritage, and resolved matters with their fists, Azerbaijan, which had just recovered from the breakup, was defeated by Armenia, and the first Nagorno-Karabakh war in 1994 was temporarily ceasefire mediated by Russia.
However, Azerbaijan has abundant oil and gas resources, and after about 20 years of hard work, it has greatly improved its economy and military. At the same time, it also strengthened relations with Turkey, and in order to be humiliated, Azerbaijan launched the second Nagorno-Karabakh war in 2020, relying on absolute strength to recover all the lost territory in one fell swoop. At that time, when drones were in vogue, TB-2 drones provided by Turkey pinned Armenian troops to the ground, and although the ceasefire was opened again after Russia's intervention, the strength of the two sides in Asia has changed significantly, and the superiority of Azerbaijan will be overwhelming if it were to face each other again.

Armenia, on the other hand, has not developed its economy and military for so many years, and after independence it joined the "CSTO" advocated by Russia. However, the organization did not help Armenia in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, which obviously caused serious dissatisfaction on the Armenian side, so before the outbreak of the second Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Armenia began to follow the route of "de-Russia". Even internationally, the West has repeatedly turned to support European and American countries against Russia, but in fact, the CSTO only protects undisputed territories, and the Nagorno-Karabakh region, which is a hot spot of conflict, is obviously not among them.
And with the decline of Russia's strength in recent years, including the shooting down of Russian fighters by Turkey in Syria, the second and third Nagorno-Karabakh conflicts, the attack on Russian base convoys, and even the ambush of peacekeepers. In the end, the Russian side was hasty, hardly expressing strong dissatisfaction, and did not express unacceptability in the face of Azerbaijan's apology and financial assistance from the families of the casualties. Coupled with the fact that the Russian-Ukrainian conflict is a lens that has illuminated the weakening strength of the Russian army, Armenia feels that the United States is more reliable in this context.

Armenia is ready to climb another branch and continue to send autumn waves to Europe and the United States, and the United States certainly hopes to strengthen its influence here. So the small but significant US-Asian joint exercises began, but I did not expect that the exercises had not yet ended, and European and American aid had not arrived, and Azerbaijan had already arrived first without giving the slightest face. Seeing that the United States is unreliable, and then looking for Russia's help, the result can be imagined, Russia clearly stated that the Nagorno-Karabakh issue is an internal affair of Azerbaijan, and more than 60 positions of the Armenian Nagorno-Karabakh garrison were killed in one go, and they were abandoned by the United States and Russia at the same time and could only choose to be soft.
In fact, historical experience tells everyone that if a weak country wants to rely on a big country, it is better to be specialized, and it must also compete to develop the economy. Otherwise, the end will not be too good, after all, it is better to rely on people than to rely on yourself, for example, Russia has made it clear that as long as Russia is in Nakawi and its forces are not threatened by armed forces, it will not open fire.
