On the afternoon of September 5, 2023, Chushang Youth Talk (Phase 7) was successfully held in our institute. This issue of Youth Talk was delivered by Li Hao, a lawyer from Hubei Chushang Law Firm, with the theme of "Exploring Solutions to the Difficulties in Implementing Money and Debts". Ms. Zhang Liang, director of Chu Shang Law Firm, Mr. Zheng Yue, senior partner, Mr. Liu Tao, senior partner, Mr. Liu Anna, partner and some young lawyers attended the event.
This Chu Shang Youth Talk was presided over by lawyer Yao Lu, deputy director of the Youth Work Committee.
Through case sharing, lawyer Li Hao showed the practical operation process of solving the difficulty of implementing monetary debts. She stressed the importance of investigating and gathering leads, as well as constantly finding new directions and information during execution. By exposing the wrongful acts of the defendant, the court's positive attitude towards handling the case, the cooperation of the parties and the participation of lawyers have achieved effective results. However, enforcement cases require proper timing, good enforcement and the cooperation of all parties, and may require further supervision and enforcement to complete.
In the comment session, lawyer Yao Lu reintroduced the purpose of the Chu Shang Youth Speaking Activity to let young lawyers experience the whole process from topic selection, style, skills, PPT design, to formal speech and post-review as a sharer. In addition, she affirmed the summary of Mr. Li's PPT design and case sharing, suggested highlighting the difficulties and challenges in the process of sharing case execution, and once again emphasized the importance of self-introduction.
Ms. Zheng Yue shared her experience and insights in enforcement cases. She stressed the need for firm determination in the enforcement of cases and never left any room for manoeuvre for those subject to execution. In addition, she hoped that future events would be livestreamed. She believes that the live broadcast can attract more attention, which can prompt the presenter to pay more attention to the preparation work, and the live broadcast can be reviewed to identify problems and make improvements in the next event.
Mr. Liu Teng praised Mr. Li Hao's innovative way of speaking, saying that her storytelling to express her case experience makes it easier for the audience to have a sense of substitution. From a storytelling point of view, this approach is more appealing. Storytelling is an effective way of speaking, which can clearly present the complex and multi-threaded story through PPT display, without being trivial as a running account, and must grasp the key points.
Lawyer Liu Tao mentioned that for newly practicing lawyers, it is not scary to encounter difficulties or criticism, and if they can discover their own shortcomings, make use of their strengths and avoid their weaknesses, they can grow faster. With the help of Chu Shang Youth said this activity, new lawyers should not only exercise their own speech, but also optimize their own image, be consistent in appearance, and give their clients a professional impression and efficient service experience.
Lawyer Zhang Liang made the final summary. He believes that the topic chosen by lawyer Li Hao is very good, because lawyers will face more or less difficulties in enforcement in the process of practice. He said that for young lawyers, expression is a procedural process, and they need to develop their expression skills through preparation, sharing of their opinions, feelings or conclusions, and review afterwards. In this discussion, there was a heightened awareness of how to express the topic completely and effectively. Subsequently, lawyer Zhang Liang responded to the questions raised by lawyer Li Hao. He said that in the case of judges facing a large number of cases, how to communicate with the presiding judge, the enforcement department and the higher unit is the key to solving the problem.
