On July 6, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers organized 16 automobile manufacturers to jointly issue a binding letter, aiming to comply with Article 14 of the Anti-Monopoly Law, which states that "industry associations shall strengthen industry self-discipline and guide industry operators to compete according to law", and fulfill the obligations of industry associations to maintain fair competition in the market in accordance with the provisions of the "Maintaining Market Competition Order".

The Association realized that the expression "price" in the letter of commitment "do not disrupt fair competition in the market with abnormal prices" contained an error in the expression "price", which violated the spirit of the Anti-Monopoly Law and attracted widespread attention.
