In the evening, the large-scale 3D Mapping Wall Show of "The Story of Light and Sound" also made its wonderful debut at the "Wall of Art" on the west side of the concert hall. In the 8 minutes of brilliant light and shadow, through the interaction of architecture, art, music, light and shadow, and science and technology, the story of Shanghai Concert Hall, Shanghai culture and city is told with five chapters: prologue, echo, variation, new life, and colorful.

Whether it is a multimedia version or a concert version, the contemporary temperament and international expression of Haipai folk music have won the love of audiences at home and abroad.
The resident edition of "Sea Folk Music" continues the original characteristics while injecting a sense of technology and a sense of the future. Eight original works with diverse styles have been recreated to unearth the new charm of Haipai music.
"Each of our works contains imagery or spirit of Chinese culture." Luo Xiaoci, director of the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra, introduced, "For example, the "Water Line" brought by the hand dish and shakuhachi shows the philosophical meaning of 'Shangshan Ruoshui', the guzheng solo "Ink Opera" shows the weather of Chinese calligraphy, and the pipa in "Wine Song" joins hands with Peking Opera, telling the soft bone pride of the overlord Xiang Yu... In order to cooperate with the resident performance of "Sea Folk Music", the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra conducted a special annual business appraisal. Players from multiple voices performed the solo repertoire of "Folk Music on the Sea" during the examination. This not only exercises and improves the level of performers in all aspects, but also provides an opportunity for more talented young actors to be seen. Li Chenxiao, 22, has just been admitted to the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra this year and has taken on a heavy role in "Landscape".

Costume design Dong Guiying's performance costumes not only have a sense of history, but also have internationalization and fashion. "What we want to reflect is not to be retro, but to have a modern aesthetic consciousness and better convey the beauty of Shanghai to the world."
In order to "eat through" these musical works, multimedia visual director Mao Yuchu followed Luo Xiaoci and Ma Junfeng's systematic learning, and tried to present the cultural connotation behind the music.
The theme of "Landscape and Water" chooses Huang Gongwang's "Fuchun Mountain Jutu", allowing music to return to the mountains and forests, highlighting the ancient theme of "man and nature" and the philosophical concept of "heaven and earth and people". In "Ink Drama", with the ups and downs of musical emotions, different calligraphy fonts appear, sometimes urgent and slow, sometimes light and heavy. When the music is soothing and gentle, the Northern Wei inscription "Zhang Ronglong Monument" is selected, which is elegant and ancient. When excited and cheerful, with Zhang Xu's wild grass "Four Ancient Poems", it is uninhibited.

Founded in 1930 and designed by China's first generation of architects Fan Wenzhao and Zhao Chen, Cadillac Shanghai Concert Hall is the oldest Surviving European Classical style music building designed by Chinese architects in Shanghai, and is one of the landmarks of Shanghai culture that reflects the fusion of East and West, the coexistence of diversity and the advancement of the times.
