Official: Peruvian referee Kevin Ortega will enforce the Spanish Olympics vs Japan Olympics

According to official sources, FIFA has arranged for Peru referee Kevin Ortega to enforce the match between Spain and Japan.

Ortega, 29, became an international referee in 2019 after he had previously played the Copa Libertadores, the Copa Libertadores and some of the OLY's preliminaries.

At the Olympics, Ortega participated in the Japan vs South Africa match as the fourth official, and then he also played the France vs South Africa and Romania vs New Zealand matches as referee.

The Olympic men's semi-finals between Spain and Japan will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
