Walking with the memory of your hometown (Part 3)
- Three visits to Munich (3)
Written by Li Xiangchang
Inscription: Hometown is the first yardstick for everyone to measure this world. From the day you babbled, this "first ruler" has been in your blood and soul. After that, no matter where you go or what you see, it has the genes of your hometown, and it can't help but let you compare it, and cultural differences quietly emerge, and the plain words written in writing are particularly interesting.
Three visits to Munich(3)
⊙ Deutsches Museum
Among the many museums, memorials, cultural and historical museums, and halls of fame, I think the most worthwhile to see with children is the Deutsches Museum, which was founded in June 1903 and has a history of more than 100 years.
Known as the largest science and technology museum in the world, it is worth a special visit with friends and family. The museum receives 5 million visitors a year (four to five times the size of Munich's permanent residents) and exhibits around 28,000 themes in more than 50 scientific and technological fields. In addition to the main building, there are two branch libraries nearby and in Bonn. The Bonn branch library opened in 1995 and focuses on German science and technology from 1945 onwards. The newest branch, opened in 2003, showcases transportation technology.
The museum has a collection of about 50,000 pieces, of which only 1/3 are on display. The contents include physics, chemistry, agriculture, resources, mining, metallurgy, metal processing, power machinery, automobiles, railways, tunnel engineering, highways and bridges, water conservancy, electric power, communications, ships, aviation and space flight, chemical industry, glass technology, textiles, measurement, musical instruments, photography, printing. There is an observatory and a planetarium in the museum. It also houses artifacts such as portraits, manuscripts, and coins.
The total length of the exhibition line in the main hall is 16 kilometers, and it is impossible to see it all in one day. The most famous exhibits include the restored Galileo laboratory, submarines and rockets invented in Germany during the two World Wars, simulated underground mines, and exquisite musical instruments made in Germany. The exhibition halls of automobiles, railways, ships, and aircraft are places with more visitors, and the most attractive is the one-million-volt lightning simulation performance device in the high-voltage electric exhibition hall, which is often watched by a group of people. Other exhibitions such as printing, photography, glass craftsmanship and other exhibitions are very distinctive.
The agricultural technology exhibition section has exhibits that cannot be seen in other museums around the world, such as the exhibition of ancient and modern bread, which is very interesting. The planetarium is the world's first planetarium and the most attractive pavilion for children and teenagers.
There is a "Hall of Honor" with statues and deeds of famous scientists and inventors of the past. Due to the large scale of the museum and the large number of exhibits, adults can pay eleven euros for a ticket to visit for a week, which is really worth it.
In the European Union, you rarely see workers and farmers every day, but almost every lawn, forest, pasture, neighborhood, church, and road is carefully cared for. The weeds and wildflowers on the roadside bloom freely, and the swans, wild ducks, water birds and fish in the lake breathe freely. Standing on the 165-meter-high sightseeing platform of the world's tallest Ulm Cathedral, built more than 500 years ago, overlooking the blue Danube and the Rhine River flowing quietly in Nande, this is the former residence of the scientific giant Einstein and the location of the world's industrial civilization giant Siemens.
⊙ sports and environmental protection
The Isa River, the river of life flowing from the Alps, flows endlessly through the largest "English Garden" in Munich, becoming a waterboarding paradise for countless surfers.
We have walked many times along the Isa River in the English Garden, watching the wonderful water games of amateur surfers, and feeling the youth and vitality of Munich people who usually seem serious and serious.
Munich is not close to the sea, but it is actually a surfing spot on the Isa River, which runs through the city center. The Isa River is only 3 to 10 meters wide, but the rapids of the river attract a large number of sports enthusiasts to surf here, and throughout the year, there are countless surfers and countless spectators, which has long become a dynamic business card of Munich. Such a novel tourist spot made me amazed and moved into it, but unfortunately it took less than ten minutes to get wet in the water, and I could only hastily clean up and go ashore because of the rapid and cold water.
Let many people know Munich as a city, which is home to the world's best football team, the super Allianz home stadium, as a Bayern and European Championship fans, Munich is one of the essential tourist destinations.
The Allianz Arena was the venue for the opening ceremony of the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. The 66,000-capacity stadium was jointly funded by Munich 1860 and German club Bayern Munich. The Allianz Arena is actually not big, but because of the design of the infield, the sound of the home fans can be doubled, creating the feeling of the devil's home. To watch major events such as the European Cup Bundesliga, tickets often need to be booked up to a year in advance. In the season, the color of the Allianz Stadium wall lighting will change according to the score of the field, which is a rare spectacle in the world, and there are many modern high-tech elements worth following the docent.
The Allianz Arena is open to the public, and visitors can even visit the dressing rooms and buy a variety of sports-related souvenirs, from clothes and shoes to the logos and numbers of the star teams, and pictures of the albums signed by the stars. We took the metro to the Allianz home stadium on a sunny day, where only the local amateur team was practicing, which required advance booking to pay to enter, but also gathered a large number of fans to watch the booing. And tourists buying sports souvenirs are waiting in long lines to pay. A stadium is more lively and profitable than a large supermarket. It is said that this is true most of the year round.
⊙ famous cities and celebrities
Civilized continent Obarro,
The Danube is a wonderful landscape.
What a surprise in the hometown of a celebrity,
Innovation in the world.
Magnificent Hall of Fame,
The rain flows and the sun and the moon are long.
Small town ancient town multi-talented,
Alpine Affair.
Read all the red dust and have mercy on the sky,
Sorrow and joy and experience of vicissitudes.
Thousands of miles to admire,
Heart incense a petal to write poetry.
——"Travels to World Cultural Sites"
There are many World Heritage cities or sites in Central Europe: Oudom, Regensburg, Würzburg, Vienna in Austria, Rome, Florence and Venice in Italy. Salzburg, on the border between Germany and Austria, is a city of music. After ten years, I stopped and photographed the former home of the musician Mozart twice.
Hundreds of kilometers around Munich, there are large and small famous cities and ancient towns, and various celebrity residences. Munich with just over 1 million permanent residents, hundreds of museums, galleries, memorials, of course, there are too many stories.
For example, in Munich's central Königsplatz, the former site of the SS headquarters, there is the Hitler Crime Museum, and in Nuremberg, there is the world-famous Nuremberg Trials Memorial Hall. In Ulm, there are memorial carvings of the former home of the scientific giant Einstein, etc.
From the small town of Füssen to Augsburg, NATO military bases and camps can also be faintly seen.
In Augsburg, we also watched the local people's festival street tour from zero distance, with amusement teams from all walks of life blowing and playing, flowers and greenery swaggering through the city, and even military formations from NATO bases, marching with the stars and stripes.
At noon, people on and off the bus high-fived, kissed each other, and volunteers provided bread and apples for the audience to eat for free. Therefore, in my home country, all kinds of national celebrations, festivals, expositions, sports meetings, etc., can basically only watch live TV. Even the official sponsors or holds festivals and celebrations at the prefecture, city and county level must prepare for security drills many days in advance, with all police dispatched, schools suspended, supermarkets closed, and enterprises suspended. Some celebrations often become performances of official political achievements, not to mention that it is difficult for local residents to enter, let alone ordinary tourists to participate in the spectacle.
⊙ University City of Heidelberg
Old Bridge Castle for nearly a thousand years,
Teaching and research are ancient and modern,
Han Window Student City Jing Ke,
Wander the University Hall.
Beautiful Heidelberg is a cultural and university town on the Neckar located about 80 km south of Frankfurt. It is a microcosm of the history of romantic German civilization. The winding and secluded alleys communicate the castle and the river, full of poetry. Perched on Throne Hill on the banks of the Neckar River, the castle is a reddish-brown castle that is the site of an ancient imperial palace. Mainly made of sandstone of the Neckar River, the structure is complex and the style is varied, and although it is broken, it still loses its royal spirit.
Founded in 1386, Heidelberg University became the center of European science and culture as early as the 16th century, and the prestige of Heidelberg today is no less. Since 1/5 of the city's population is students, Heidelberg is also the city with the smallest average age in Germany. There, you can dine at the "Knight's House" or take a stroll along the "Philosopher's Trail".
The prestigious Heidelberg University strolls the "Philosopher's Path" among the chestnut trees on the mountainside, through the Caltaido Bridge and the riverside forest in front of the library made of red boulders. 18th century world celebrities philosopher Hegel, Feuerbach, chemist Mendeleev, poet Goethe, author Victor. Hugo, musician Haydn, both lived and studied in Heidelberg.
Write down a short sentence on the Mercedes train:
European travel to exotic countries,
The old town and town are all schools.
The waters of the Danube are clear,
Philosopher's trail thought flow.
Feuerbach Hegel,
Wen Shi Zhe Sheng is always wise.
Renaissance mathematics, physics and chemistry,
The Holy Kingdom competes for glory.
Gothe Schumann Beethoven,
The classic wonder still wraps around the beam.
Bronze stone carving ancient Greece,
A chapter of the human epic.
Ou Xing saw and heard like a dream,
Century of nirvana.
⊙ Valhalla Temple
The Valhalla Temple in Regensburg, built between 1830 and 1842, covers 2,000 years of German national historical figures. We spent a whole day driving more than 300 kilometers to see the flowers, and we only saw the Valhalla Shrine, which was built a century ago.
The temple currently houses 65 plaques and 130 statues of worthy and respected German world celebrities: Chinese the well-known physicists Newton and Einstein, mathematician Gauss, astronomer Copernicus, philosopher Kant, musicians Beethoven, Bach, Brahms, Haydn, Schubert, poet Heine, writer Goethe and painter Albrecht. Dürer, Hans the Younger. Holbein, leader of the Reformation, Martin. Luther...... Wait a minute.
The latest statue is that of Sophie, a 22-year-old female student at the University of Munich. Sauer (1921-1943) was arrested by the Gestapo on 28 February for anti-Nazi activities and sentenced to death six days later. I think it is probably equivalent to Liu Hulan and Sister Jiang in China?
From the perspective of ordinary Chinese people, every historical celebrity who can be included in this hall deserves it, and it seems that one or more memorial halls (memorial statues) can be built, and world-class celebrities are shining brightly and the heroic spirit is eternal, continuing the eternal glory of this continent for 170 years.
Germany has not only given birth to outstanding socialist 'red teachers' such as Marx and Engels, but also emerged artistic wizards such as Beethoven, Bach and Goethe and 'Western soldiers' such as Moltke the Elder, and also spawned political geniuses such as Bismarck and Adenauer and 'war madmen' such as Wilhelm II and Hitler - every historical figure enshrined in the Valhalla Temple makes German history appear alive in front of the world, and can even be said to be influencing the world today and the future.
Too many history, culture, science and technology, art museums, various important cultural and historical museums, military museums, historical materials, etc., from national comprehensive museums to small such as porcelain museums, potato halls, etc., preserve and record the splendid splendor and heavy civilization inheritance of the European continent for thousands of years, and have also become the most important carrier to display the national and local image to the outside world.
The meaning of travel may be to leave the hometown and leave the familiar, but have been walking in other places with the memories of the hometown. In the long and delicate life in the future, I will recall the whole mellow and sweet time in an instant.
A small poem that accompanied the note that year, right to end:
Cirrus clouds are covered with greenery,
Swan Lake.
Castle spire Europa,
Alpine dance.
Dense traffic,
Haze Forest Park Nagisa.
The ancient town and new city are full of flowers,
The peaks are emerald and sighing.
