At the meeting, Li Xiang, president of the Xiongbi Court of shizong county people's court, was awarded the title of "Top Ten Political and Legal Cadres and Policemen" in Qujing City in 2021.
Li Xiang, female, Han ethnicity, born in October 1988, member of the Communist Party of China, master of law from Sichuan University. Whenever she saw Li Xiang, she held a copy of the Civil Code with labels and annotations in her hand, and everyone laughed and called her the "Civil Code" that the Shizong Court walked.
In order to make every judgment handed over worthy of the parties, Li Xiang always maintained a serious attitude. Although she studied law at university and postgraduate, she still felt that the knowledge she learned in school was too limited, and she always urged herself to continue to study and study, not only to learn legal knowledge, but also to study what knowledge the case involved. She often said that she could not make the verdict biased because she did not know enough. Since the promulgation of the Civil Code, Li Xiang has shouldered the responsibility of a messenger of law dissemination, and has repeatedly walked into local units to preach the Civil Code, sending the law to the countryside, into enterprises, and into schools. In order to make each lecture spread the energy of the rule of law, she compiled a real case into a story and told it in a way that everyone was interested in, whether it was the elderly or children, they were willing to listen. She said that if one or two of the seeds of the rule of law that are sown every time can take root and sprout, it will be satisfied.
