The first black star hung by the CIA on the stone wall is related to China!

author:International Online

There is a marble wall at CIA headquarters covered with black pentagrams, one of which represents an "intelligence officer" who died overseas. The first of these black stars, named Makenan, was a spy operating in China as the deputy consul general of the United States in Dihua (now Urumqi). Around 1950, Makenan and his spy forces developed in China were resolutely cracked down upon by our counter-espionage department and the military and civilians, and finally collapsed, ending the history of harming the mainland.

The "spy talent" favored by the CIA

Macron University graduated from the Department of Physics of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, specializing in radio, meteorology, photography, organic chemistry and other majors, and is proficient in Spanish, French, German, Russian and other languages. Marknan joined the U.S. Army in 1942 to engage in meteorological research, and from 1944 to 1946, as a member of the U.S. Army's 10th Weather Squadron, he went on a secret mission to Dihua, Xinjiang, China.

His "spy" and experience were quickly favored by the CIA and absorbed into him as a domestic spy. After training in intelligence techniques, Makenan began espionage missions, rampaging around in Xinjiang, China.

Maknan's foreign status is Deputy Consul General at the U.S. Consulate in Dihua. He used this identity to meddle in China's affairs on the one hand, cultivating espionage and political bandit forces in the northwest region; On the one hand, taking advantage of Xinjiang's proximity to the Soviet Union, Xinjiang secretly installed intelligence monitoring equipment such as air pressure, earthquake, and radiation in Xinjiang, with the aim of detecting Soviet atomic bomb intelligence.

The emperor fled Xinjiang and died in Tibet

With the liberation of Xinjiang, Maknan withdrew. But he was not willing to leave China, and he wanted to continue espionage in Tibet.

In March 1950, Makannan crossed the desert with his entourage from Xinjiang, ascended the plateau, and entered Tibetan areas. Unable to find a stable foothold, Makhnan wandered around Tibetan areas, waiting for an opportunity to carry out operations.

On April 29, Makenan's party broke into the home of a local herder and was immediately discovered by local armed people, and the two sides confronted. Maknan's brutal reluctance to lay down his arms and clashed with the armed population. During the firefight, Marknan and his personal entourage were killed and the others were captured. Maknan's body was subsequently buried in situ.

In this way, Marknan became the first "intelligence officer" to die overseas after the CIA's establishment in 1947, and the first black star on the marble wall.

The remnants of the spy forces were wiped out

During his stay in Xinjiang, Makannan raised a large number of spies and political bandits in China's northwest region, providing them with financial and weapon support. Before fleeing Xinjiang, he specially met with one of the spy leaders, Wu Siman, and asked Wu to bring his spies and continue to confront the people's government.

Usman gathered more than 5,000 bandits to riot and loot in the border areas of Xinjiang, Gansu and Qinghai. The Northwest Bureau of the CPC Central Committee led the counter-espionage department and the military and civilian armed forces, and dealt a resolute blow to the Usman spy bandits.

In February 1951, Usman was captured. In April 1951, after a trial, Usman and other spies and bandits were executed.

Usman and other spies and bandits

In July 1952, the Party Central Committee personally sent personnel to Xinjiang to deal with the remnants of the Usman spy bandits, leading the counter-espionage department and the military and people to resolutely crack down on the stubborn spy bandit leaders, and on the other hand, uniting the masses, restoring production, eliminating the soil for the existence of spies from the political, economic, and social perspectives, fundamentally solving the remnants of the spy bandits raised by the CIA, and effectively thwarting the subversive conspiracy of the CIA.
