The mention of the "Xi'an Incident" always cannot avoid the two patriotic generals, Zhang Xueliang and Yang Hucheng, who made Chiang Kai-shek agree to the unanimous anti-Japanese proposition and save the national crisis.
The tiger father has no dog daughter, and Yang Hucheng's daughter Yang Zhenglu is also a hero in the female middle school, known as the "female captain who has competed Mu Guiying". However, she died at the age of 22 and left her life forever in Xinjiang for the sake of the motherland's oil industry.
Throw yourself into the oil industry
General Yang Hucheng had three marriages in his life and had a total of 4 sons and 6 daughters. Yang Zhenglu is Yang Hucheng's fifth daughter, born to Yang Hucheng's third wife, Xie Baozhen.
When the Xi'an Incident occurred in 1936, Yang Zhenglu was only 9 months old. Not long after the incident, Yang Hucheng was imprisoned by Chiang Kai-shek's order for 12 years until he was mutilated.
Yang Zhenglu, who was still an infant at the time, lost the caresses of her parents since then, and her grandmother took her and her three sisters all the way to escape and live a turbulent and wandering life. It was not until the liberation of Xi'an in 1949 that Yang Zhenglu ended such a bitter life.
During those difficult years with their ancestors and grandchildren, when the four sisters missed their parents, their grandmother told them the revolutionary stories of their parents, and the local underground organizations and progressives often expressed concern and comfort to Yang Zhenglu's sisters, which sowed the seeds of revolution in Yang Zhenglu's young heart.
After the liberation of Xi'an, Yang Zhenglu, who was studying at Xi'an Girls' High School at that time, officially announced the end of his days of incognito, joined the Communist Youth League, and gradually became the backbone of student activities.
In 1951, 15-year-old Yang Zhenglu gave a passionate speech at the 10,000-person mobilization meeting held in Xincheng Square, telling the process of his parents, brothers and sisters being brutally killed by Chiang Kai-shek.
In 1953, when Yang Zhenglu graduated from high school, she learned that the current lack of resources is the biggest difficulty facing the construction of New China, and the most lacking in resources is geological talents. To this end, she resolutely chose to apply for the oil and gas geological exploration major of Northwest University.
Since then, Yang Zhenglu has strengthened his determination to dedicate himself to the petroleum industry, determined to give his youth and even his life to the petroleum industry of the motherland.
Struggle on the front lines of oil exploration
In June 1955, Yang Zhenglu graduated from Northwest University, and at that time, according to her status as a martyr's child and her excellent personal qualities, she could stay in Xi'an or work in Beijing, Shanghai and other big cities.
However, she took the initiative to submit a report to the party organization to participate in the work in Xinjiang, and insisted that she go to the place where the motherland needs it most and is most difficult, and go to Xinjiang to carry out petroleum geological exploration.
In July, Yang Zhenglu went to the Xinjiang Petroleum Management Bureau to report to the local investigation office, and the leader originally decided to keep her to work in the geological department of the organ, but after she learned about it, she found the leader and made a fire, strongly demanding that she go out with her classmates to do grassroots work, and finally the leader could not resist her temperament, so he had to agree to her request and assign her to the geological survey brigade of the Dushanzi Mining Bureau.
After officially joining the work, Yang Zhenglu followed the survey team over more than a dozen mountains every day, walking an average of more than 40 miles a day to conduct detailed geological investigations. After getting familiar with the work, she always endures hardships, bravely shoulders heavy burdens, and always completes exploration tasks with excellence.
Not long after, Yang Zhenglu, who was rated as an advanced producer, was appointed as the leader of the 106 geological exploration team, becoming the only female team leader of the exploration team at that time.
During this period, she and her classmate Xie Hong, who came to Xinjiang together, developed from teammates to lovers, which is also the only lover in her life.
However, due to their long-term participation in the field work, Yang Zhenglu and Xie Hong, the two lovers, rarely see each other and neglect each other's company, but because of their common ideals and concepts, they decided to wait until the end of the exploration mission of "Kra Meili".
In fact, "Kra Beauty" is not as beautiful as its name, the vegetation here is sparse and deserted. Summer is hot, the temperature can reach fifty or sixty degrees, but at night it is so cold that you need to wear a cotton jacket to get by. Yellow sand is often pervasive, and strong winds blow one after another.
But it was in this environment that Yang Zhenglu and his team worked for nearly a year, but the effort paid off, and they found not only the fossil layer here, but also the key to the oil gate - a large number of silicified wood and asphalt veins.
In this regard, Yang Zhenglu firmly believed that "Kra Mei" must have oil, and based on this major discovery, she quickly wrote a summary report and submitted it.
Missed the wedding date and died in Santang Lake
In July 1958, Yang Zhenglu led the 106 team to complete the geological survey task of this area with amazing vigor in the hot and water-scarce "Kra Meimei" environment, exceeding the original plan of the country.
Originally planning to hold a wedding, she received another task to explore the Santang Lake Basin on the border of China and Mongolia, so she had to discuss with Xie Hong the decision to delay the marriage date, and then immediately devoted herself to the new work task.
In August, Yang Zhenglu led Team 106 to exceed the quota for the month. In September, 106 teams completed more than twice the national plan census in three weeks.
On September 25, Yang Zhenglu divided the 106 team into three groups, and two teams completed the finishing work of the block, and most of the team members stayed at the station to pack up and prepare for moving.
Yang Zhenglu and Comrade Zhang Guangzhi, a geologist of the same group, set out from the camp and walked to a place dozens of kilometers away to conduct a final census. However, in the afternoon, the sky suddenly changed, and suddenly it snowed heavily, the wind of seven or eight levels roared, and the temperature plummeted by tens of degrees.
And Yang Zhenglu and Zhang Guangzhi both dressed very thinly, in such snowy weather, it was dark at four or five o'clock in the afternoon, and the visibility was getting lower and lower, and the two quickly lost their way, they could only fight hard in the wind and snow, moving forward.
This sudden snowstorm made the stationed team members deeply worried about the safety of the two teams. The team members immediately stopped their work and took back a work group. However, the group of Yang Zhenglu and Zhang Guangzhi was never found.
Therefore, all the team members in the station went out and asked the nearby villagers to help find it. They shouted the names of Yang Zhenglu and Zhang Guangzhi on the Gobi Desert and signaled the direction of the lost. But the vast Gobi is too big, and although many people are mobilized, it still does not help.
The next day, just as the sky was faintly bright, the team finally found the footprints of the two men on a small hillside a few kilometers away from the camp, but they had turned into frozen corpses.
The first to find was Zhang Guangzhi's body, and the team members found Yang Zhenglu dozens of meters away according to the footprints around him, only to see that when Yang Zhenglu fell, her body was crawling forward, her arms were stretched forward, and her ten fingers were deeply inserted into the soil, and she was just doing this to tightly protect the newly drawn geological map in her arms.
When everyone saw this scene, they all left tears, and they were all moved by Yang Zhenglu's professionalism. This year, Yang Zhenglu was only 22 years old, missed the wedding date and flower season, and left his life forever in the land of Santang Lake.
