Chengdu-Leshan Expressway, referred to as "Chengle Expressway", also known as "Chengle Expressway", is a tourist expressway in Sichuan Province, connecting Chengdu city and Dileshan City, with a total length of 86.834 kilometers, officially opened to traffic on December 28, 1999. The Leshan to Meishan Qinglongchang section will widen the original road to two-way eight lanes; the Chengdu to Qinglongchang section will build a new two-way eight-lane double line, starting from the third ring Road Sichuan-Tibet interchange, and the two sections will be connected, which will become a new Chengle Expressway with a total length of more than 130 kilometers (including the main line and the Leshan urban transit complex line, of which the main line of the project is 127.622 kilometers long (Chengdu 37.966 kilometers, Meishan 59.076 kilometers, Leshan 30.58 kilometers); Leshan urban transit complex line is 8.502 kilometers long). The project will also build an Emei connection line to Emeishan City through a two-way six-lane highway at the Chengle Expressway Jiajiang Interchange. The section from Chengdu to Qinglongchang costs more than 300 million yuan per kilometer, making it the most expensive highway section in China.
Recently, with the completion of the last section of the guardrail marking line, the right side of the main line of the Leshan section of the Chengle Expressway was successfully completed and officially opened to traffic, and the direction from Chengdu to Leshan was expanded from the original one-way two-lane to four-lane, and the traffic travel was more smooth. Since the successful completion of the traffic conversion of the closed road section on June 2 this year, the E2-SG2 project department of the Chengle High-speed Expansion Construction Project has overcome difficulties and carefully organized, and more than 1,200 construction personnel have worked day and night to actively and steadily promote the production task, not only successfully completed the right-hand construction task, but also completed the left-width 7-kilometer construction task, which greatly alleviated the pressure on the second phase of the entire traffic organization.
It is reported that at present, the main line foundation project of the Leshan section of the Chengle Expressway is 100% complete, the pavement project is 53% complete, and the bridge project is 98.6% complete. The right side is completed and opened to traffic, the left and right sides are officially completed the traffic conversion, and the follow-up construction will be fully transferred to the left side, and gradually promote the construction of road surface, traffic security and other projects, and it is expected to achieve full line penetration by the end of the year. As of October, the Qingshen Toll Station, a supporting project of the Chengle High-speed Expansion Project, was officially put into operation. Qingshen Toll Station is located in Jinhua Village, Xilong Town, Qingshen County, with a total of nine toll lanes of "four in and five out", the toll station integrates a large number of Qingshen characteristic bamboo culture and Sudongpo cultural elements, and at the same time, it has completed 5 ramps and 4.5KM Qingshen connection lines. At present, only small vehicles from Chengdu to Qingshen can get off the highway from the Qingshen toll station, and until December 31 this year, Qingshen to Leshan and Leshan to Chengdu can be fully opened to traffic.
