He Yi, 42, who has extensive experience in the insurance industry, has served as the party secretary and director of the local financial supervision bureau in Anhui Province.

According to a report by Hefei Daily on July 7, He Yi participated in the event as the party secretary and director of the local financial supervision bureau in Anhui Province. Previously, on June 25, the "Anhui Pioneer Network" of the Organization Department of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee published a pre-appointment announcement for cadres: He Yi, the current vice mayor of Huangshan City (suspended post), intends to assume the leadership position of the provincial unit at the level of the main department.

During his tenure as vice mayor of Huangshan, He Yi was responsible for finance, investment and financing, and was in charge of the local financial supervision bureau (financial office), urban investment group, credit investment group, and iron investment company.

At present, the leadership information column of the website of the Local Financial Supervision Bureau of Anhui Province shows that He Yi has served as the party secretary of the local financial supervision bureau (financial office of the provincial government) in Anhui Province since June 2021.

He Yi was born in November 1979, a native of Ningde, Fujian Province, with a postgraduate degree, a doctorate in economics, and a member of the Communist Party of China, and began working in July 2004.

He Yi is from an insurance class, and his undergraduate and master's students are both enrolled in the Insurance College of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. His career also began in the insurance industry and he worked in the Chinese Insurance Group until November 2019, when he became the vice mayor of Huangshan.

Specifically, from July 2004 to July 2007, He Yi worked in PICC P&C Insurance Claims Department and office (Board Office). From July 2007 to March 2014, He Yi was transferred to the Office of PICC Health Insurance Company (Board Office), which is also part of PICC Group, during which time He Yi served as the Director of the Secretariat of PICC Health Insurance Company Office (Board Office) from June 2010.
