"I have already met a lot of friends from the ski club, and I am looking forward to being exposed to sports that I am not good at at school, and you will take me to play other sports, and I will teach everyone to ski!" Su Yiming said that his first small goal in entering the university was to visit the school and meet more friends.
On February 15, 2022, Su Yiming, who was not yet 18 years old at the time, won the snowboard big air competition at the Beijing Winter Olympics, becoming the youngest Winter Olympic champion in mainland history.
In June this year, the Department of Science and Education of the General Administration of Sports of the People's Republic of China issued the "Announcement on the Recommended List of Outstanding Athletes for Undergraduate Guarantee in 2023", and a total of 820 athletes passed the review and were eligible to be recommended for university escort. The list shows that Su Yiming recommended Tsinghua University.
In this regard, Su Yiming said, "I know that I still have many shortcomings, and I will work harder in the next four years to live up to expectations." ”
In July this year, Su Yiming served as the flag bearer of the Chengdu Universiade as a freshman in college.
