In terms of taste, mainstream sweetness is no longer the only taste of ice cream, and ice cream flavors such as tea, coffee, and wine continue to emerge, among which alcohol-flavored ice cream products have become a major hit this summer.
What do consumers think of these ice creams, which "weird" ice cream is preferred? Recently, the Nandu Taste Group held a special tasting activity of "strange taste" ice cream, openly recruiting 20 tasters to conduct the main observation and evaluation of 10 kinds of ice cream.

In this tasting activity, 10 types of ice cream were selected, mainly divided into three flavors. Among them, the brands involved in wine-flavored ice cream include Moutai, Shede * Shengyuhu, Sophia, and Tank Duck Dog; Tea-flavored ice cream includes Baxi and Acchinon; Cocoa flavored ice cream includes Zhongxuegao, Yili, DQ, and Okeykey* Freshippo.
From the unit price, the highest unit price of this sample is Moutai yogurt ice cream, 66 yuan; It was followed by Baxi green tea flavored ice cream and DQ cold brew coffee flavored ice cream, both at 59.9 yuan; the lowest unit price was Yili bitter coffee ice cream, 2.15 yuan.

The main dimensions of this ice cream evaluation are including taste, overall texture and recommendation. At the evaluation site, after tasting an ice cream, the taster will evaluate and score it accordingly, and then conduct a tasting of the next sample.
Considering that there are ice cream products with alcohol, the tasters recruited this time do not include minors. Among the samplers recruited, the post-90s and post-00s accounted for the highest proportion, with a total of 12 people. In terms of gender, 17 tasting staff were women, accounting for the vast majority.

I like the feeling that people can sit down and discuss while eating, and it is very relaxing and pleasant to share which ice cream is delicious while tasting new flavors, and which products are unpalatable. There is a big difference in the score of alcoholic ice cream

"Taste" examines whether consumers think the flavor of wine, tea, and cocoa in ice cream is strong, and the stronger the score, the higher the score. In the "Taste" list, Moutai yogurt ice cream ranked first with a score of 8.35 points, followed by Zhongxuegao's Ghanaian black gold ice cream and Achinaon's black tea Bobo ice cream.
Many tasters reported that they were trying Moutai ice cream for the first time, and felt that the smell of liquor came to their face when they opened the lid, but when they entered the mouth, they found that the yogurt smell was greater than the wine flavor, and "the yogurt taste was a bit of a steal". But from the overall results, 90% of the tasters gave Moutai this ice cream a score of 8 or more. Ms. He, a tasting worker, thinks Moutai ice cream is the best, "Its wine flavor is not very light or heavy, I think it is just right, and I like the taste very much." ”
It is worth noting that a number of wine-flavored ice creams ranked at the bottom, all scoring less than 7 points. Shoto* Saint Yoho, Sophia, and Duck Dog's wine-flavored ice cream ranked fourth, third and first on this list, respectively. The taster reported that these wine-flavored ice creams have a light flavor, among which Sophia ice cream is too sweet, but the taste of dried grapes is very good, while the tank duck dog is a more strong osmanthus flavor, and some tasters think that the wine flavor and osmanthus flavor do not match.
In addition, Yili's bitter coffee ice cream ranks second to last on this list. Some tasters reported that this ice cream tastes like coffee candy, and the coffee taste is not strong.

"Taste" examines whether consumers think the ice cream is moderately sweet, whether the filling is rich, and whether the overall taste is good. In the "taste" ranking, Moutai yogurt ice cream, Achillon's black tea Bobo ice cream, and Okeykey* Freshippo's movable type printed chocolate ice cream ranked in the top three.
Among them, Acchinon black tea Bobo ice cream is also one of the samples with divergent views among tasters. Some tasters believe that the tea flavor of this ice cream is good and reduces the sweetness, and the filling wave increases the taste and is the highlight. But some tasters said that there were too many bobos, "I can't tell whether to eat ice cream or Bobo" and "the tea flavor is too strong." Another tea-flavored ice cream scored in the middle. "After the whole trial, my favorite product was Yaxi's green tea ice cream, which is very fresh and special, and has a summer feeling." Mr. Fang, the taster, said.

At the bottom of the list are still the ice cream products of Shede* Saint Yoho, Sophia, Yili, and Tank Duck Dog. Among them, the bottom tank duck dog osmanthus wine ice cream scored 4.86, and there was still a big gap with the ninth Yili bitter coffee ice cream (score 6.69). Somewhat surprisingly, Zhongxue Gaogana Black Gold Ice Cream, which ranked second in the "Taste" list, fell to sixth place in the "Overall Taste" list, with about half of the tasters scoring a score of 6 or less.
Many tasters think that Zhongxuegao's ice cream is too bitter, because the chocolate is too rich, so it will be a little greasy to eat, "maybe you can make a little stick." However, some tasters said that they would recommend children to eat Zhongxuegao, "because children will feel that chocolate is very flavorful." The product page of this product shows that Zhongxue Gao Ghana Black Gold Ice Cream is "rich in flavor" and "suitable for heavy lovers of black ingenuity".

Tank duck dog osmanthus wine ice cream has not been approved by test customers
When evaluating an ice cream, you can't just look at the taste and texture. Therefore, in the "recommendation index" dimension, the taster needs to score the ice cream in combination with the dimensions of taste, texture, price, product packaging and so on, and the more willing to recommend it to relatives and friends, the higher the score.
In this list, Hema co-branded Okeykey's movable type printed chocolate ice cream successfully surpassed Moutai yogurt ice cream to rank first, and Yili's bitter coffee ice cream also changed the disadvantage of ranking ninth in the first two lists to rank third on the "Recommended Index" list. In the recommended index list, Baxi, Shede * Shengyuhuo, Zhongxuegao and Tank Duck Dog ranked at the bottom, with scores not exceeding 7 points.
Why can't Moutai yogurt ice cream rank first? Many tasters bluntly said that it was too expensive. Also due to price factors led to the decline in the ranking is Baxi's green tea flavored ice cream, its unit price is 59.9 yuan, and the DQ cold brew coffee-flavored ice cream at 59.9 yuan has not changed much in the recommendation index ranking, but there are still tasters who think that the price is too expensive, which is prohibitive.

What are the characteristics of the number one Hema joint ice cream? The product page shows that this is a movable type printed square with chocolate ice cream. Many tasters reported that its product design, packaging and convenience of eating added points to it, "good looking, low price", "special styling style, interesting" and "full of national style", but some tasters reported that it was "very bitter".

It is worth noting that the tank duck dog still ranks at the bottom of the recommended index list, that is, this ice cream ranks first in the scores of all three dimensions, which can be regarded as a fiasco. But if you look closely at each consumer's rating, you can find that the consumer's rating of the ice cream of the tank duck dog spans from 0 to 10 points, which is the most divergent product among all the ice cream products.
According to the official website of Tank Duck Dog, its representative product is Ningbo Tangyuan, and its affiliated enterprise is Ningbo Tank Duck Dog Food Co., Ltd. According to the flagship store of Tank Duck Dog, the company currently only sells this ice cream product. According to public information, in December 2022, ice cream brand Kemiku once called the time-honored Chinese brand "Tank Duck Dog" and launched osmanthus wine brewed ice cream "Guanren's Wine". Although the combination of the classic osmanthus wine and ice cream in the rice balls is quite innovative, judging from the evaluation results, this innovation has not been recognized by the tasters.

As the highlight of this event, alcoholic ice cream was unanimously expected by the public.
In May last year, Moutai launched its first ice cream, and the wine company's cross-border ice cream earned a gimmick. This year, Shede Wines and dairy brand Shengyuhu jointly launched a joint ice cream with a price of 19.9 yuan. In this tasting activity, the scores of 4 wine-flavored ice cream ice cream products were quite different, among which Moutai yogurt ice cream was well received, and the other 3 wine-flavored ice cream products ranked relatively low.

The joint ice cream launched by Shede has added a popping bead design, and the popping beads containing the flavor of Shede wine are placed in a "pen holder", and when eating ice cream, you only need to open the "pen holder" and put popping beads into the ice cream cone. Some tasters said that eating an ice cream can have a different experience, "compared with Moutai, more price advantage", but some tasters reported that they did not see the eating method on the product, and the wine flavor popping beads are very thick and difficult to bite.
As for the large number of alcohol-flavored ice cream products that have emerged this year, many tasters said that they had not tried them before. Mr. Chen, who participated in the tasting, said that this was his first time eating wine-flavored ice cream, and he felt that the taste was quite novel but did not like it very much, and said that this product "may occasionally buy a taste, but it will not be a must" in his daily life; Some people also show strong interest in alcohol-flavored ice cream, such as Mr. Fang said that it was the first time to eat alcohol-flavored ice cream, but it was generally acceptable, especially impressed by the wine-flavored ice cream.
Nanduwan Finance Agency reporters noticed that compared with ordinary ice cream products, the price of wine-flavored ice cream is generally higher, and many tasters believe that price is also an important factor affecting their purchase of alcohol-flavored ice cream, and will not choose to buy high-priced products. "Like Moutai ice cream, there is a brand effect, and it is understandable that the price is high, but I still hope that the price can be lowered, so that it can become a more daily product and allow more people to taste it."
