Such a contrast made the parents of the students trust him, so not long after, these parents jointly recommended Modi to return to the People's Party, this "gilding" allowed Modi to gain a large number of supporters, soon became the general secretary general of the People's Party, but also concurrently served as the spokesperson of the People's Party, directly came to a political "triple jump".
At this time, Modi lacked only actual local political achievements. So since 2001, Modi has been transferred to Gujarat as chief minister, Gujarat, originally in the whole of India, is a very poor place, the economy is not good, corruption is particularly serious, even if it is a skeleton, come here to squeeze some oil out.
As a result, after Modi came to take office, the first thing he did was to spend great efforts to rectify the local atmosphere, fight corruption and promote clean government, and promote a group of capable henchmen.
And Modi also actively learned from our experience in reform and opening up, led local officials to Europe and the United States to run Japan and South Korea, pulled a large number of investment sponsorship, such as Ford in the United States, Siemens in Germany and other large companies have gone to Gujarat to build factories.
Modi worked in Gujarat for ten years to build India's "Guangdong", accounting for 16% of the country's total industrial output and 22% of total exports.

Finally, in the 2014 general election, Modi, the "three haves" candidate with connections, achievements and support, became the prime minister of India without suspense. And this kicked off his ten-year rule.
The first thing Modi did after taking office was to continue to vigorously fight corruption, replicating his governing philosophy in Gujarat nationwide, and introducing an Anti-Corruption Act.
Before Modi, the tax of the whole India did not have a central unified coordination, basically separated, the chaos of the tax system gave an excellent opportunity to launder money and buy stolen property, and Modi integrated the tax system, so that India's finances were gradually on track.
In the next few years, India's economic level continued to improve, the fiscal deficit continued to decline, and the employment rate and law and order gradually improved.
On the other hand, the experience of coming from the bottom in his early years has made Modi very aware of the living conditions of ordinary people, and when he ran for prime minister, Modi was known for being "close to the people", and his close to the people is not the ungrounded "performing arts" of rich children, but can really go deep into the bottom masses.
This has made Modi, after becoming prime minister, pay special attention to the welfare of the people at the bottom, and introduce many policies to benefit the people, so that the living standards of the grassroots in India have been significantly improved.
It is also because of the successful implementation of these measures that Modi's support rate has remained high throughout his first term, allowing him to be re-elected as prime minister in the general election, and under his leadership, the BJP has gradually replaced the old party Congress Party to become the strongest and most prestigious power group in India.

But merit must be done, mixed praise is the fate of politicians, and Modi certainly cannot be left alone.

This situation has seriously affected India's foreign trade. It was not until after the epidemic, because the country's medical level was too poor to afford treatment, that Modi liberalized the control of foreign imports, allowing a large number of foreign products, especially medicines, to enter India.
