On the evening of July 12th, the eyes of the entire fashion industry focused on Shenzhen Sea World Culture and Art Center, and the Dior Fall/Winter 2023 ready-to-wear series Shenzhen Show arrived as scheduled, lighting up Peng City. Pay tribute to the deep friendship forged between the Dior brand and China since its inception. IN PORTUGUESE ARTIST JOANA VASCONCELOS' LARGE-SCALE INSTALLATION FOR THE RUNWAY, VALKYRIE MISS DIOR, MODELS SLOWLY STEP OUT AND FEEL DIOR WOMENSWEAR CREATIVE DIRECTOR MARIA GRAZIA CHIURI EXPLORE THE HISTORY OF THE DIOR BRAND IN A NEW WAY. Clothing is the embodiment of the fusion of imaginative thinking and body touch, and is a way to get close to and integrate into the world.

For Maria Carcia Corrie, Creative Director of Dior Womenswear, each ready-to-wear collection is an opportunity to explore the connection between clothing and body and fashion. IN DIOR'S FALL/WINTER 2023 READY-TO-WEAR COLLECTION, MARÍA GASIA COLI REINTERPRETS THE FIFTIES OF THE TWENTIETH CENTURY AND DELVES INTO FRENCH STYLE BY SPOTLIGHTING THREE OUTSTANDING WOMEN, CATALINA DIOR, ÉDITH PIAF AND JULIETTE GRÉCO. All three French women have achieved their personal style with an independent spirit. As the protagonists of their respective lives, they all subverted the stereotypes of women in post-war society with their unique lifestyles.

CATERINA DIOR IS NOT ONLY THE SISTER OF CHRISTIAN DIOR, BUT ALSO A STRONG AND INDEPENDENT WOMAN, A PARTICIPANT IN THE FRENCH RESISTANCE DURING THE SECOND WAR, A WOMAN WHO LOVES FLOWERS AND REGARDS THEM AS HER LIFE'S WORK. Maria Gacia Corrie, creative director of Dior womenswear, often pays tribute to Katerina, a true model of women's liberation, in her collections. And Edith Piaf and Julette Greco captivated the world with their moving singing voice and excellent stage performance. To embody the essence of Parisian style, they relive history to create new wardrobe styles, or combine the subtle emotions of the body with the intense rhythms of poetry, their achievements belong to every era.

This season's ready-to-wear collection is a testament to unconventional femininity. This feminine trait is rebellious and gritty and fragile, with classic Dior elements such as flowers, pleats, rattan checks, and maps of Paris being reinterpreted, such as Monsieur Dior's favorite floral motifs, mottled fabrics and metal embroidery threads that energize the fabrics. Create dynamic and varied shapes and blur silhouettes for an abstract effect. The works are based on ruby red, topa yellow, blue, emerald and other main colors. Coats, jackets and straight-leg skirts are made from delicate checked prints to create a unique charm. THE "COROLLE" SKIRT CAN BE LAYERED OVER A COAT FOR ADDED CHARM; Poplin is embellished with metal embroidery threads, shining brightly; Delicate embroidery also shines with glamour and celebrates the multifaceted style of these remarkable women, inspiring and inspiring the new generation of women shaping the future.

JONNA VASCONSLER WAS INVITED BY MARIA GASIA KOLI TO CREATE THE LARGE-SCALE INSTALLATION VALKYRIE MISS DIOR FOR THE SHOW. The work presents a natural form, echoing the architectural structure in an organic form.
