In order to deeply implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, conscientiously practice Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization, vigorously promote ecological culture, and help the launch of the Sixth Five-Year Plan Activity Day in the province in 2023, since March 17, the Gannan Prefecture Federation of Literature and Artists has organized relevant literary and artistic associations to solicit papers from the province around the "Ecological Longyuan Harmonious Coexistence between Man and Nature" calligraphy and painting, photography (short video) and literary works sponsored by the Gansu Provincial Department of Ecology, the Gansu Provincial Federation of Literature and Literature and the Gannan Prefecture People's Government, and as of May 10, a total of 5266 literary and artistic works were collected (including 180 works of fine art, 4,500 photographic works, 110 short video works, 212 literary works, 223 calligraphy works, and 41 works of Tibetan calligraphy), the works have distinct themes, diverse expression techniques, and novel artistic concepts, which have achieved the expected results.

On the afternoon of May 23, the event organizer invited relevant experts to form a jury to evaluate the collected works, and awarded according to different art categories, and selected a total of 195 winning works (including 35 calligraphy works, 42 fine art works, 60 photographic works, 20 Tibetan calligraphy works, 18 short video works and 20 literary works). The winning literary and artistic works will be exhibited at the main venue (cooperative city) in Gansu on June 5th Environment Day 2023, and some award-winning authors will be invited to present awards on site. All winning works will be published in a unified portfolio, selected for exhibition on major media platforms, and the organizer will give awards and certificates to the winning authors. The winning works are now being displayed online.
