Jennifer Lopez's photos for the July edition of Vogue in Mexico are particularly gorgeous. The photos were taken by Norman Jean Roy on the second day of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's charity gala last May. Lopez is not only the first Latino actress to make $1 million with the movie Selena, but also the first woman to own both a movie and a number one album.
Lopez was kicked out of the home at age 18 because she dropped out of school to pursue dance without consulting her parents. If life is a voyage, then she is definitely her own captain. By the way, Norman Jean Roy's photography assistant wife Joanna Jean Roy is an accomplished artist. The couple also owns a bakery in Hudson, New York. It's called "bread folks".
