Men riding motorcycles shot randomly on the streets of New York, killing 1 and wounding 3

On the afternoon of July 8, Joseph Kenny, assistant commissioner of the New York City Police Department's Criminal Investigation Bureau, held a press conference to introduce the street shootings that occurred in Brooklyn and Queens at noon that day.

At 11:10 a.m., a 25-year-old man riding an unlicensed light horse fired a random pistol into the crowd in Brooklyn, hitting a 21-year-old man in the shoulder. Police found 9mm caliber shells at the scene.

Through the city surveillance network, the police found that the man who fired the gun fired only one shot in the first attack on his bicycle.

Seventeen minutes later, at 11:27 a.m., the man rode to Queens and shot an 87-year-old man, hitting the victim in the back and taking him to the hospital to die.

After the police arrived at the scene, witnesses reacted that after the man hit the old man, he also fired several random shots during the ride, without injuring anyone.

At 11:35, a 44-year-old man was shot in the face and seriously injured. Less than a minute later, he shot a 63-year-old man in the right shoulder and was taken to the hospital in a stable condition.

After the 25-year-old man was subdued, he also found a magazine full of magazines, pistols and magazines, as well as light horses on which the crime was riding, were illegal. The motive for the crime is unclear, and one death and three injuries were caused by random shooting.
