Gunmen on motorcycles opened fire in New York City, killing 1 person and wounding 3:
An 86-year-old New York City man was shot dead by a man on a motorcycle and injured at least three others, police said the man shot randomly in Queens on Saturday.
A 25-year-old suspect is in custody, NYPD Commissioner Joseph Kenny said at a news conference.
Kenny said the shooting occurred around 11:10 a.m. when a 21-year-old Hispanic man was shot in the shoulder. Shortly after, the 86-year-old was shot dead in the Richmond Hill area. He later died in hospital. The gunman also opened fire on another 44-year-old Hispanic man. The victim was rushed to hospital in critical condition.
About a mile away, less than 10 minutes later, a 63-year-old man was shot in the shoulder and taken to a nearby hospital, where police said he was listed as serious but stable.
