Some typical cases are announced as follows:

Case 1: Wuxing Tea Shop in Suiyang District, Shangqiu City, sold tea that did not meet national standards for excessive packaging

On June 20, 2023, the Shangqiu Municipal Market Supervision Bureau carried out a special inspection of excessive tea packaging at Wuxing Tea Shop in Suiyang District in accordance with the law, and conducted spot checks on the "Wuyi Xing Jinjunmei" tea products sold by the store, and it was estimated that the porosity rate of the tea packaging reached 76.7%, which did not meet the requirements of GB 23350-2009 "Limit Excessive Packaging Requirements for Food and Cosmetics" "National Mandatory Standard Void Rate ≤45%". According to Article 105 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste, the Shangqiu City Market Supervision Bureau ordered the party to immediately correct the illegal conduct, remove the non-compliant "Wuyi Xing Golden Junmei" tea, and transfer the illegal clues to the local market supervision department of the tea gift box manufacturer. The business entity involved has taken the initiative to remove the tea.

Case 2: Suiyang District of Shangqiu City, Hequan Tea Shop sold tea that did not meet national standards for excessive packaging

On June 20, 2023, the Shangqiu Municipal Market Supervision Bureau carried out a special inspection of tea excessive packaging in Hequan Tea Shop in Suiyang District in accordance with the law, and conducted a random inspection of the "Huaxiangyuan Guobin Tea (Da Hong Pao)" tea products sold by the store, and it was estimated that the porosity rate of the tea packaging reached 84.7%, which did not meet the requirements of GB 23350-2009 "Limit the requirements for excessive packaging of goods Food and cosmetics" "National mandatory standard void rate ≤45%". Case 3: The case of excessive packaging of tea that did not meet national standards by Dagao Mountain Tea Trading House in Jiaozuo Liberated District

On July 4, 2023, the Market Supervision Bureau of Jiaozuo Liberated Area carried out a special inspection of tea over-packaging in the Liberated Area Dagaoshan Tea Commercial Bank in accordance with the law, and conducted a spot check on the "Pu'er ripe tea" sold by the store with a price tag of 368 yuan per box. Case 4: Jiufu Mingshe Tea Trading House in Jiufu Jiuzhuo Liberated District, Jiaozuo City, sold tea that did not meet national standards for excessive packaging

Case 5: Zhoukou City Development Zone Youwei Chinese Tea Restaurant Cultural Center sold tea that did not meet national standards for excessive packaging

On May 16, 2023, the Zhoukou Municipal Market Supervision Bureau carried out a special inspection of excessive tea packaging in the Zhoukou Development Zone Chinese Tea Restaurant Cultural Center in accordance with the law, and conducted a random inspection of the "wild monster" Jin Junmei tea sold by the store, and it was estimated that the porosity rate of the tea packaging reached 65%, which did not meet the requirements of GB 23350-2009 "Limit the Excessive Packaging Requirements for Food and Cosmetics" "National Mandatory Standard Void Rate ≤45%". Case 6: A certain food store in Yang, Dengzhou City, Nanyang City, sold tea over-packaged that did not meet national standards

On July 4, 2023, the Market Supervision Bureau of Dengzhou City, Nanyang City, carried out a special inspection of tea over-packaging in a certain food store in Yang, Dengzhou City, and conducted spot checks on the tea leaves of "Xinyang Maojian", "Shuangtan Tea Tie Guanyin" and "Shuangtan Tea Jasmine" sold by the store. According to Article 105 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste, the Market Supervision Bureau of Dengzhou Municipality of Nanyang City ordered the parties to immediately correct their illegal acts and remove tea leaves such as "Xinyang Maojian, Shuangtan Tie Guanyin, Shuangtan Jasmine" that did not meet the regulations.
