According to polar news, the organizer staff said in an interview that the merchants of the music festival are all rented out, because the music festival is currently withdrawing, it is not clear about the specific situation, and will understand the treatment.

Subsequently, the staff of the festival organizer responded that it was not the organizer's staff who sold the water. "Sometimes the merchants of music festivals are contracted by our organizers, and some are contracted by venues, which is different. We also don't want to create a bad experience for our fans and affect our own word of mouth. The staff member also said that relevant evidence is being collected and will definitely strengthen control in the future.

Regarding the situation reported by netizens, the staff of the Tianjin Jinnan District Market Supervision Administration told the media that they had not paid attention to the matter for the time being, and would feedback the situation to the relevant departments and intervene in the investigation.

This matter caused heated discussions among netizens. Some netizens ridiculed, "Obviously you can grab money, he has to give you a glass of water", and some netizens shared their own experience, "I spent 200 yuan and bought 5 glasses of lemonade"...

In this regard, lawyer Wang Yi, a member of the lawyer expert database of Rule of Law Daily, senior partner and deputy director of the management committee of Beijing Yingke (Xi'an) Law Firm, said that the pricing behavior of mineral water in the music festival needs to be judged in light of market conditions. According to the provisions of the Price Law of the People's Republic of China, the market-regulated price applies to the mineral water sold in the music festival venue, and the operator enjoys the right to set prices independently. Proprietors shall follow the principles of fairness, legality and good faith in pricing prices, and set reasonable prices based on production and operation costs and market supply and demand. It is illegal for a business operator to raise prices arbitrarily in violation of the provisions of the Price Law. At the same time, the festival organizers leased the booths exclusively to merchants on the grounds of maintaining the order of the venue, and used their dominant market position to sell bottled mineral water in cups, and if there were such acts of eliminating or restricting competition, they might also be suspected of violating the Anti-Monopoly Law and the Anti-Unfair Competition Law.

The mainland has strict regulations for producers and sellers of bottled and bottled water, and merchants selling bottled water at music festivals must have corresponding business qualifications and meet the national standards for drinking water, and the organizer shall also bear joint and several liability for this. If a business operator does not clearly mark the price or adds a price to the listed price when selling goods or providing services to consumers, its conduct constitutes infringement of the legitimate rights and interests of consumers.

At the same time, Mr. Wang reminded consumers that in case of such a situation, they should report to the organizer in time and complain.

First of all, consumers can require merchants to issue corresponding receipts or invoices, keep consumption vouchers and record the unreasonable behavior of business operators, so as to facilitate later rights protection and evidence.

Secondly, they can complain to the consumer association or the market supervision department, and if they encounter serious violations or seriously higher than the normal price, they can also protect their rights through litigation.
