Suddenly, the flank of the "Swallow" was hit by enemy aircraft, and in an instant, the plane lost its balance and then violently rushed to the ground.
The citizens watching the battle immediately gasped. Seeing that the fighter was about to crash, our combatants instantly pulled the "Swallow" back from the death line with superb technology.
But at this moment, the "Swallow" has already been shot and fired, and if it makes an emergency landing or parachutes at this time, there is still hope of survival, but the pilot did not do this.
After calming down, he hurriedly turned the plane around, and then drove the already dilapidated plane towards the enemy plane.
Then, only a "bang" was heard, and the fire suddenly cut through the night, engulfing the entire aircraft, and our best combatants at that time gave their precious lives.
That year, he was only 22 years old. He should have enjoyed the good years of youth, but he went to heaven with a mission.
He is the hero: Chen Huaimin.
Just the night before the air battle, he seemed to have a strong sense of bad premonition, so he wrote the following paragraph in his diary that night:
"Death" - if such a thing really occurs, please do not be sad, do not be sad, I died for the country, death is worthwhile.
A youth diary has just begun, and it is over.
Chen Huaimin was born in 1916 in Bailian Lane, Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province. His father's name was Chen Zixiang and his mother's name was Wei Jingcheng. When the two couples first gave birth to their son, they took the name Chen Tianmin, and later when the son grew up, he inspired to save the country and love the people, and made a difference, so he changed his name to Chen Huaimin.
When he was a teenager, Chen Huaimin could be described as both civil and martial, studying in the school during the day and learning martial arts with his father at night. His martial arts practice since childhood led him to often win national junior martial arts championships.
Later, Chen Huaimin was admitted to the Central Aviation School in one fell swoop, not to mention the excellent results of the school, and he is also a basketball and cycling enthusiast. He also represented the school and other schools in basketball leagues, during which he met his beloved girlfriend Wang Lulu.
In 1932, after the 128 Incident, he decided to join the 19th Route Army led by Cai Tingkai, and honorably became one of the student volunteers, actively fighting in Songhu.
At the same time, he was also praised by American instructors: "This kid will definitely become the best pilot in China in the future." ”
During this period, he witnessed the heinous crimes committed by the Japanese army, and these cruel experiences strengthened his determination to resist Japan and save the country and sacrifice his life for the country.
After graduating in 1936, he joined the Chinese Air Force pilot, resolutely became a soldier, and participated in the battles of North China, Shanhai, and Nanjing. He also gradually impressed people from the crowd of air arrogances.
At that time, it was stipulated that pilots must be at least 28 years old to get married, in order to prevent pilots from having accidents in the middle of the way, leaving the woman alone for the rest of her life.
In the fierce war situation, such love is sad. Chen Huaimin, who is also a pilot, naturally has his unspeakable side.
But on the one hand, the family and the world, and on the other hand, the love of children and daughters, Chen Huaimin did not hesitate and firmly chose the former. Because he knows very well that if there is no country, how can he talk about home?
Chen Huaimin is the rich second generation, his girlfriend Wang Lulu is not bad, a proper rich family, his father is the president of the bank.
In 1936, when Chen Huaimin was fighting in Nanchang, his girlfriend specially visited him and gave Chen Huaimin a set of teapots. Chen Huaimin understood that this was his girlfriend's token of love. Chen Huaimin was excited, hugged Wang Lulu tightly, and the two officially confirmed their relationship at this moment.
But the warmth was always short-lived, and it didn't take long for Chen Huaimin to enter the fourth brigade, and then followed the troops to start air battles many times.
Chen Huaimin's piloting skills are very good, and he can always master the aircraft flexibly. So that even Japanese pilots who prided themselves on being strong admired very much. And Chen Huaimin should also be known as an excellent fighter and is known as a "warrior in the air".
In September 1937, two months after the July Seven Incident, nearly 30 Japanese planes invaded Nanjing.
When the incident was urgent, after receiving the intelligence, he quickly put on a flight suit and quickly attacked. But unexpectedly, the enemy was too cunning, 4 fake enemy aircraft attacked Chen Huaimin at the same time, Chen Huaimin was calm and calm at a critical moment, with one enemy and four, with superb driving skills, and launched a fierce attack with the enemy. In the end, Chen Huaimin successfully broke through by shooting down an enemy aircraft.
However, in the process of landing, he was attacked by enemy aircraft, and the fuel tank of the fighter was hit and caught fire, and Chen Huaimin had to make a rapid landing, but the plane was gradually out of control.
Even though Chen Huaimin tried his best, he still ended up colliding with a big tree. The violent impact left him seriously injured and fractured all over his body. After being taken to the hospital, he was treated for three months before he was able to recover and be discharged.
In April 1938, Chen Huaimin went home to visit his parents, and before leaving, his mother took out a talisman from her arms and handed it to her son, telling him to return safely. The moment Chen Huaimin knelt and kowtowed three times and turned to leave, tears soaked his eyes. No one expected that this parting would be a farewell forever.
When he saw his girlfriend Chen Lulu, Chen Huaimin said solemnly: "If I can live to win the War of Resistance, we will get married, if I sacrifice, please take care!" ”
My girlfriend listened to it and burst into tears. She understands that the country must make a choice when it is difficult to face. Thinking of this, she pretended to be calm and said: "Fight well, I'll wait for you to come back." ”

Chen Huaimin sacrificed his life for the country. Since his death, nearby residents have spontaneously organized a search for the body, but it has been fruitless until June 3, when a fisherman was fishing and found it from the river.
When the mother saw her son's body, she cried with grief, although the father tried to comfort him: "Huai Min died for the country, he is a hero." But the choked tone still couldn't hide the traces of sadness.
And equally grief-stricken is his girlfriend Wang Lulu. In the month after Chen Huaimin's death, she wore the red cheongsam given by Chen Huaimin and plunged into the rolling waves of the Yangtze River.
Just seven years after Chen Huaimin's death, Chinese people went through hardships and finally won the victory of the War of Resistance. I believe that martyrs have spirits in heaven, and they must also feel gratified!
Nowadays, in Wuhan's Jiang'an District, there is a street that is not obvious, called Chen Huaimin Road. It was built to commemorate Chen Huaimin.
Although the hero dies, the spirit lives on!
