Don't look at this place so beautiful now, it wasn't like this before. More than a year ago, this is a sheep's intestine path, layers of earthen ridges, overgrown with weeds, and some residents have opened up some orchards and vegetable fields, because they are spontaneous formation, over time, the place is relatively desolate. In order to improve this situation, since April last year, the local government has begun to carry out ecological restoration of Fushan, carrying out rectification work such as demolition of illegal greenery, greening of bare land, and construction of green roads, and returning green to the people. In the northern section of Fushan Forest Park, "greenways, streams, bridges, paradises and other landscapes have been created, which can be said to be a different scenery. Among them, there are 20 characteristic landscapes, not far away Peach Blossom Dock, Tanyu Valley, Wencui Lake, originally a small pond for water storage and flood control, after transformation, the water-friendly trail is used to connect the various landscapes, forming the current lakeside activity space. The water is clear and green, there are koi at the bottom, black swans, great white geese and mallards on the surface of the water, and the mountain vegetation is planted on the original basis, planted with more than 4,000 trees such as golden cinnamon, mountain apricot, golden leaf elm, cedar, etc., no matter where you go, the trees are green, and the floating mountain is becoming more and more beautiful.
We know that Qingdao is a mountainous city, and as early as the eighties of the last century, some mountain parks were gradually built and opened. However, with the passage of time, problems such as extensive environment in some parks, lack of activity venues, and imperfect infrastructure have gradually become apparent. Last year, the local government coordinated the living and production space and began to implement ecological restoration of Fushan. Spanning the three districts of Qingdao, Beibei, Laoshan and Shinan, Fushan covers an area of about 698.98 hectares, equivalent to the size of 978 standard football fields, and plays an important ecological function. It turned out that one mountain and three separate pipes did not integrate with each other, and there were many broken roads. After the renovation, the outer fence of more than 10,000 meters disappeared, replaced by a 13.5-kilometer greenway around the mountain, like a streamer winding with the mountain, and citizens can play along the road unimpeded. There are 35 entrances and exits around the park, greening and lighting have been carried out on both sides of the entrances and exits, and supporting facilities such as public toilets, post stations, and amusement facilities have been completed.
Not only Fushan, but also Qingdao's Taiping Mountain is also a new look. The 7.9-kilometre greenway around the mountain connects Zhongshan Park, a zoo, a botanical garden and a beech forest park, making the isolation of each park a thing of the past.
