Tergote, a historic city in North Rhine-Westphalia in western Germany, is a city of pilgrimages with beautiful scenery. A German dialect is now spoken there, Rhine, and even local schools have Rhine majors to save it from being lost.
Glass wrote about the end of the Thirty Years' War (1618~1648), in 1647, a group of poets, from all sides of the ruins of the war, gathered in Tergote, talked about poetry and rhyme, used the bond of language, condensed the spiritual strength of the Germans, issued a peace declaration, and urged the end of the war. In the course of history, political interests, religious factions, and the innocence of literati are all sincere, and it is rare to know that they cannot be done.
